Cool, don’t see the point though.. seems like you would want the truck in the meat of the powerband with your set up. A 4l80 would probably be faster. The reason those coyote trucks run so damn good with the 10 speed is the powerband is narrower and high.

Point was just to see if I could since nobody else has done it. I can shift the truck right after the peak power output and have the engine in its power band all the time. More gears= less rpm drop after a shift. 4L80 at the end of the day prob stronger and more reliable but the new 10 speeds are looking like they can take some power.

I had an 8 speed in my last 6.2 but this 10 speed 6.2 I have now is better and faster for sure!

@@rickyleroy7795 my dad had a 6.2 10 speed crew cab, and I had(I have videos on my page) a f150 5.0 10 speed. Mine was faster, and the trans seemed to suit that engine better.

@@matt6951 my brother has a 2021 F-150 5.0 I beat him every single time, we switched drivers... and he beat me when driving my 6.2....... both trucks are crew cab and 4x4 its a good race but I’d have to mess up on the launch or miss shift in order for the 5.0 to be an even race

@@rickyleroy7795 I had a gt intake manifold, that with a custom tune made a huge difference over stock intake. Goes from peak power at 5900ish to 7500ish. The 6.2 is no slouch, I have one in my Escalade, the 5.0 is just a lot peakier and loves staying up in the rpms, the 10 speed is great at that.

Realistic it's not gonna be faster than a 6 speed doing 0-60 but 80MPH plus is where it will really shine
