The tdm850 was a really underrated bike back then much better than the yzf600 on normal roads. Trx850 fazer 600 hornet 600 kawasaki KLX650 KLE 500 honda NX650 Dominator XLV600 transalp. Miss all these bikes such a huge choice back then.

Congrats and welcome to the Adventure Bike life! I personally have a KTM 790 Adventure, I'm 6ft 4in tall and I love it. These parallel twins have great torque down low, they are much happier in the lower revs. You should be able to ride around in 6th gear with no issues, save fuel and it will keep you from hitting 5-6k rpm. Have fun and keep the shinny side up.

Seat options could be either the Corbin touring saddle or Seat Concepts Comfort. Once you break it in, keeping the revs higher also lets the traction control function better as well! If it says 0kph, does that mean the odometer doesn't go up too? Go on a huge road trip and then sell your low km bike! XD

@@chrishart8548 yes, but its not that simple. tenere and mt09 are totally different bikes, With mt09 you get beast of a motor, a real terrier i would say. with Tenere you get more sophisticated, adultlike bike. yes lower power, but higher usability. CP2 server the purpose of tenere perfectly. comparing mt09 with R7, R7 is a toy. XD no one wants to drive one in city bcs of the ergos, the only good use is in track. and in track, CP3 is way more fun no matter what kinda rider ergo bikes got. CP2 serves well certain bikes, Imo R7 is not one of those.

I have to say it hurts a little when I see you break in your bike. I'm not sure if you've understood the information correctly? Revving up to 5-6000 rpm doesn't mean you should ride around at 5000 rpm all the time. When do you want to use 5th and 6th gear? At 100 you can drive in 6th gear. It is important to create different load conditions, you should not drive at a constant speed. Drive at lower revs, then again at slightly higher revs. Initially, don't rev above 6000 rpm and then slowly increase the maximum revs.

Come on, bro 😁 I'm not riding at constant revs, I just limit myself when I'm about to go over 5-6k. Most of my break in miles are on the highway, 6th gear. It's just boring to watch so I leave it out of the videos.
