Just some things I know I'll get comments on: - I go to a sixth form not a college, it's just called a college sixth form but is strictly a sixth form - We can wear what we want which I why there isn't really a dress code - I heat my milk up first. That's why I poured it first 😅 - there aren't any grammar sixth forms where I live - No the school is not private

Congrats on 50k and it’s nice to share a similar experience at first day at school

You're fist day was way more chill than mine😂. I changed subject half way through my first day so the rest of the day was havoc trying to figure out where and when to go because the subject I had chosen is actually done at a different sixth form to mine and my sixth form didn't know what time their lessons started at😂. It was stressful especially the fact I was walking from one school to another multiple times on a boiling hot day 😰

Thats such a cool timetable - bascially 2 period a day, each split by a break. When I did A-levels we just had a standard like 6 50min periods a day (2 then break then 2 then lunch then 2) and youd have between 3 and 5 of those slots filled with a lesson depending on the day.

I just started sixth form too and the one I’m at (at my secondary school I did my GCSEs at) only has about 60 students which is quite nice. No dress code is awesome too and with loads of free periods ( I have no lessons at all on a Friday) I can get work done or just spend some free time doing whatever. It’s good that you have more freedom and your schedule is way more flexible

Props to you Udoka for showing that not every single day is all about work and productivity. To some it might seem obvious, but I was the type of person that would believe what I would see here on youtube and thought that taking time off was "bad" and associated that with slacking which just led me to hate working and being burnt out.

In my collage we have a maximum of 3 lessons a day and they are 1h and a half we have a lesson in the morning from 10-11:30 and then an hour and a half lunch break unless you have tutor which is once a week and then we have two lessons in the arfternoon with a 15 minute break inbetween them and we finish at 4:15 . It's pretty nice but if you don't have a lesson you end up having a 3 hour break and for someone that takes an hour long bus ride to college going home really isn't an option

Bro I it’s cool we are all doing this at the same time… I just started my A-Levels too. It’s definitely a new experience. I in my opinion I am doing the most intensive subjects(not in terms of difficulty, but the work load) I’m doing Product Design, Graphic Communication and Sociology. It’s going to be long but I guess we’ll just have to power through the grind. Edit: Forgot to mention I’m also doing EPQ 😅

I'm not him but try going to your exam board's website and do practice questions. Definetly helps as you can mark it yourself too as they got the mark scheme on there. (Mine is Eduqas and I just finished 'the strange case of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde' so I am doing practice questions on that)

Who actually revised on the first day. Took me a whole week before I got home and could sit down and revise. Though on the starting week I did already make use of my frees to do all my homework.
