Awww! I know this sounds weird, but these kids definitely turned out how I thought they would based on their personalities when they were younger! So many sweet, energetic, and just all around good kids under one roof ❤️! Many blessings to anyone who reads this 🙏🏾!

You know. Im still so shocked when Daxton speaks in full sentences. Ive been watching for so long sometimes I see the little toddler still. Glad they all had a great time on their first day. The podcast was amazing as well !!!

Can I just say, I just watched the podcast you and Colette did with Roman and Brittany and I just wanted to say that I grew up watching both channels [Im the same age as Gavin] and I remember being 8 years old and sitting with a cup of chocolate milk and watching the Shaytards Christmas special! you were my childhood and I feel like a lot of us long time viewers felt and still feel apart of the family! When you guys came back and started making videos again I was thrilled! Watching the podcast really clarified a lot and I just wanted to say thank you for being so open with us! I've watched your videos for well over 10 years. I've seen both Daxton and Brock when they were born. I remember seeing Avia when she was a little girl telling you over and over while you were blogging, "Wait, daddy, I wanna be on t.v.! I wanna be on t.v." (talking about the vlog). I remember Emmie's famous "if you're happy and you know it smile". You're asking them if they're ready for 3rd grade, middle school, senior year, and freshman year respectively. The truth is that THEY may be ready, but ME? I am not ready for them to be starting their respective first days of school. They're all growing up so fast 😭💙

Wow this vlog is giving me all the feels. I started watching this channel when I was 13 almost 14 and now I’m about to be 25 and 9 months pregnant with my first baby. Time is flying by and I’m just grateful you still keep us updated on your lives!! Happy first day of school! 🥺💗

I graduated back in 2009 so it's been a long time since I had to go back to school after a fun summer of sleeping all morning and doing nothing. But I remember being SO excited for the first day of school that I could never sleep the previous night. Looking back, school seems like a dream because it's such a distant memory. However, I wish I could go back and do so many things different. For one I wouldve taken academics more seriously, gotten good grades and done well on tests/ exams. Second, I would've NOT been so shy. I was so terribly shy throughout my entire school career, mostly from 6th grade to senior year. I wouldve been more confident and social, I missed out on so much because I tended to be anti social. So bottom line, get good grades and make lots of friends! Don't be scared to be yourself! Have fun, speak your mind, and dont be scared what the other kids are going to say or think about you! Tha'ts what I'd tell my adolescent self.

Life is seriously crazy. I’ve been watching since about half way after the vlogs started. Shay started this on the last year of being in his 20’s and now in 2024 will be my final year of my 20’s that Dec is when I turn 30. Like this was my dream family, my 1st daughter was even almost named Avia! I love how much the kids have grown! And amazing to see what grades they’re in now! Love you guys!
