Congrats:) I remember being this excited when I got into med school! My younger sister is getting her doctorate in OT as well here in the UK. Best of luck to you! OTs are so important, and they are very underrated!

Is it better then nursing I want to go into nursing but I am like confused please tell me stuff on ot it would be nice

@@AishaMuse-fw1yhtry shadowing nurses and OT’s. both health careers are very different. Even if you shadow both nurses and OT’s and decide to become an OT you will develop some useful insights. I wish more OT’s shadowed nurses. Both are very different professions. Nursing involves life and death and has shift work. OT involves helping people get back to what they love by adjusting the environment and or the occupational itself. Generally a patient will have to be medically stable before they see an OT. I am a qualified nurse and I started OT but I never finished it. I am more suited to being a speech pathologist and I start the degree next year. Also look at other health professions such as speech pathology and social work. Look at what attracts you to occupational therapy. I got bored with learning about home modifications. I found it complicated. It is a big part of the job. Good luck and I hope that you make a better decision than I did.
