I Love Guinea Pigs101 You don’t need to go unless you constantly have anxiety attacks or you’re being severely bullied. Other than that, You can’t just do something just cuz it sounds way better. Trust me, OS is just like public school but shorter.

I only went to regular high school for like a month and then switched to online and I’ve been doing it since(I’m in 11th now). It’s so much better. The program I use tho I can go online at any time as long as I complete them by June

for my school I can also go online at any time and they give you 12 months to complete all of your courses

I’ve been doing online/virtual school for 3 years now. I had horrible anxiety about school and the principal had to get me one time. I was tardy everyday too. It really has helped me. I still struggle with the social part but since I have to go into the computer lab for schoolwork sometimes, I’m hoping to make some friends.

At my home school there was a campus and I would go there from 9-12 am and you would go with your class of like 12 people and you would do all that Jazz

You could just sit and do your school in pajamas! That's awesome

I'm on my last year of middle school too and I've been homeschooled before but didn't like it and never really had a schedule. I'm thinking about doing it again since school gives me extremely bad anxiety and makes me depressed. People say it impacts your social life yet nobody really talks to me anyway, my online friends are wayyy better!

I’m about to do online school and I’ve just been binge watching these online school videos, to try and see what it’s like and other peoples opinions. This video is quite old but very useful to see what my first day will probably look like. I’m (hopefully) doing a free online programme due to my mental health and my autism being very stressful to work with which is having a hard time at school at the moment. Currently, I’m not at school right now. I can’t get in to my school, physically and mentally. I’m hoping that online school will be better for me 😊

@@destinycastro773 I know this isn't a response from the person you asked in the first place, but here are a few ways to make your mom begin considering online school. 1. be as responsible as you can to prove your mom that you can handle it. 2. explain the benefits of it to them, to help them see it in a better light. 3. prove you can study independently to let them trust you with online school. Hope this helped!

Since I'm taking online college courses I've never had to deal with live video lectures or worry about people seeing/hearing me which I didn't realize until now is a true blessing.

I hate school. When I’m walking they all look at me and I hear them whispering and laughing.

My online school starts today at 8:00am

I was homeschooled and graduated at 17- Now I’m a homeschool mom of 4 myself! Loved the opportunities that homeschooling gave me- I owned my own business at 14, had so much time for creative projects and travel... it’s an awesome life!!! 😍

Next month i’ll be attending a online school. I’m actually very excited. I feel like it will help me more tbh. Hope it goes well☺️ Just finished my first week of online school and it was GREAT!! the only problem i had was just ending school late in the day bcuz i’m super slow but other than that it’s been really good🙂

It could be just me bc i have ADHD and cant focus 😭😂 but sometimes its difficult, then you take advantage of the fact that its online school, so u skip a few things, then it becomes a PILE of things. Then u put it off to the side saying "ill do this.. monday." Then say "naaah on friday" and it keeps on going.😂 THEEEN you are in trouble and u have like an hour to get it all done then you regret putting it to the side. And im in the same online school as her (the youtuber) and you actually have to wake up early UNLESS you dont have any scheduled classes. Luckly, this week i dont have any, but i still like waking up early ;)

carlyunique Hi! Ive been online schooled since 8th grade and I’m going into 10th this year. Online school is not for everyone. In my case, I absolutely love it! If you are very studious and love to learn, you are going to love it. You have to push yourself to get your work done because the teachers aren’t really there to tell you what to do. As for the adjustment aspect, it is a little hard at first. It’s completely different from public school, so you’re going to have to be open minded. During my first few days I was honestly having a blast haha. I thought it was so cool that I could wear pajamas all day, eat whenever I wanted and do school at 3 am if I pleased. Look up tips on how to enjoy it more, Like 1. Have a timetable 2. Set a specific time you have to start and finish by (not including homework 3. Set a time where you will go out and do what you like, park, gym, swimming, horse riding etc 4. Make sure you still have friends and go out on field trips 5. Don't let yourself sit there and do everything on your phone when youre bored find something else to do hope this helps

We're all basically either homeschooled or on break bc of Corona virus now

i have severe anxiety which makes it hard to me to go to a public school, so i'll be starting k12 next month, restarting as a freshman (if i were on track, id be a junior, but this whole situation has been hard) Im really excited and seeing other's experiences with k12 is really helping me relax any worries about it

Oh my god! I am a child that has chronic pain disease and it started off with my back! (Now it is all joints) I am now doing part time homeschool but this really made me feel better that i'm not the only one. Thank you!

I know this is late so i may not get a response but i do K12 as well. Im in TVAH i have been going for 2 years now. Im also a junior, i know you probably already have everything worked out by now but if you have any question message me. Its easier than you think once you get used to it

I’m doing online for my junior year and I hate it. I’m just such a social person and having to sit there doing the work and not being able to talk to my friends during the day sucks. And the k12 site was so confusing at first. The only good thing I like ab online is being able to have a blanket and listen to music whenever. But it gets really lonely. And I know some people really like it , but it’s just not for me. At all.

im not going to lie, ive had depression for a while. I did k12 for a year and a half (school years) and it made me more depressed. I would sit in my room for like 5-7 hours on my computer doing school work and it was so draining (for me) You really have to be motivated to do it all and do it correctly. I give major props to anyone who can get themselves to do it on their own everyday. That's awsome that you enjoy it so much, I wish I could've got myself to do better and work harder but it just wasn't for me.

Gothboyclique My sleep schedule was so messed up i was going to sleep at around 7 am and waking up at 5 pm - u really just have to act like online school is real school that you have to wake up on time for. i recommend making a schedule for all ur classes with times and all that. also try taking melatonin at night

Actually, you can be social too like after school and you can go to clubs etc

i wanna ask these questions: - can you do this in the UK (London specifically) ? - is it for high skl or college only? (specific age/years) - how do you actually...apply i guess??

its for every grade, i believe its international, and you just find your area and enroll

itzzeve did u ever start online school? Just curious and also I’m going to try and convince my parents bc of school so stressful and scary it’s embarrassing presentations omg don’t get me started on those :( I cry for like an hour the night before then and then after the presentations I’m like to other ppl that was so scary was it not? And there like it was fine haha and then I keep bringing it up like but that was so scary and ugh I hope my mom understands me and let’s me enroll or something in doing it ... think she will say yes?

Im doing online school this year for 8th grade. Im curious, if anyone knows... do MOST online schools have live lessons and a schedule, or do most of them just have optionable times you can do things, or not have a schedual??

i'm 90% sure i'm going to this private online school called whitmore online school - it looks amazing! i tried an online public school in my state (FLVS) and it was absolutely terrible. the teachers were fine but my anxiety spiked and it just didn't work for me.
