Nice footage! Would you say Bangkok is a good Vegan destination? Thinking of also traveling there or to the Philippines

Thank you very much for watching! Compared with the Philippines, Bangkok is way ahead in terms of vegan food, safety, cleanliness, entertainment and mobility. I only went to Manila and Bangkok so these are the only cities I can compare in these 2 countries, but it's really completely different. Nevertheless, the Philippines have beautiful and unique spots and I'm glad I got to experience a part of this country too because I always say you can learn from every culture. But being vegan there wasn't easy, in Bangkok however, they already have a great vegan culture!

I always say I should stop comparing everything with Japan but it's hard not to. 😄 Of course Japan has it's negative sides too but there are so many simple things which make me happy there like the cleanliness, politeness and the great quality of vegan food, therefore it'll always be on top of my list. Also compared to Bangkok, there's a huge gap between. Still it's nice to visit other places besides Japan because every place has it's very own perks.

Traveling is the most important thing for me. My everyday life is simple and minimalistic, therefore I can travel again soon. No car and mostly eating at home and in general a simple life as traveling is the biggest luxury. But I really like this simple way of living and because I'm thinking about traveling everyday, I don't loose focus. Also there are times when traveling is more expensive so I avoid these months. 😊

How's the air quality in Bangkok?

There's smog which feels even thicker in the air due to the hot and humid weather. There's no feeling of fresh air or taking a good breath. I guess it feels okay for most people, but as a sensitive person it doesn't gives me a good feeling. All of the traffic makes you feel you breath the waste gas. Even when you google the air quality, it's said that has reached a high level of pollution and is unhealthy for sensitive groups and you should reduce time spent outside. Actually a big reason why so many people are spending their free time at the many malls there.

@@louis20122 I'm not a health specialist and not living there, but there are studies that show increased health issues when living in such a city. I really don't know how polluted it must be or how long you have to be there to have increased risks. As a tourist I felt okay and I would travel there again if I had the desire. I know there are differences in regions, but personally I couldn't live in such a city because I'm a sensitive person.

Hello may I know what month you visites there? Seems like a lot of jay foods everywhere... I visited last February and didnt see that much 😢

Hey! I went in October, shortly after the 'Jay Festival'. This yearly vegetarian festival is celebrated for 9 days and you can find a lot of these yellow and red flags all over Thailand. Luckily Jay products are vegan as well and I was really surprised I still found a lot of these flags everywhere. Even though I seemed to be lucky with some vegan product finds, many places didn't have anything Jay / vegan even though there were these flags hanging in their display. I actually thought I'd find more vegan products in Bangkok but it wasn't that easy and appealing. Now after reading your comment, I think I was even more lucky with the few things I've found. Thank you for watching and I hope you'll go to a city next with lots of great vegan finds. 🙏
