I did duel enrollment classes my senior year but they were just like any other class at the high school so i never had to leave. Even tho 1 of the community college’s campuses is right next door to the high school. My school also does vo tech with the cc & for votech u do have to go next door.
I just started dual enrollment in community college. I am enrolled at both community college and a university. They have a program where I can take 1 course at university per semester while at community college. It saves me a lot of time and money.

Should you get textbooks before classes start or should you wait until classes start? I am not sure. I am going into my second year but last year it was all online so I have no idea what to expect. Do you need textbooks the first day. Last year some of the textbooks I got I didn’t use.

No u dont need textbooks the 1st day. Most of my classes’ textbook r ebooks online & payment is included in tuition. But my chemistry class & lab requires a physical textbook. My dumbass went ahead & bought 1 of the textbooks b4 the 1st day, and on the 1st day my professor said he isnt gonna make us buy the book bc its expensive. So just wait to see what your professor says about the textbooks. If u do have to get 1, figure out if u r the kinda person that is gonna highlight & write in it. And. Weather u want a used 1 or nah. If u dont do that then u can just rent the book. And look everywhere for the cheapest 1 u can find. My chemistry textbook was $300 at my schools bookstore to own. I got it off amazon used for $150.
