In today's video, we booked the 1st Class sleeper train via Vietnam Railway to take an 18 hour train ride from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). To our surprise, we were able to snatch up one of the two 2 bed cabins on the entire train and it made this whole experience even more exciting!

we booked using this site. www.baolau.com/en/ You have to select the 4 bed cabin and then look for the cabins that actually only have 2 cabins.

Hi Rebecca. We booked out tickets through www.baolau.com/ The train that we took was the SE1 and you just have to select the compartment that has only 2 seats in it. I believe each SE1 Train has a total of 2 of those compartments. When you are first choosing the type of seat you have to select Sleeper 4 berth and then it will take you to the seat selection and that where you choose the compartment with 2 beds

We found this website was priced pretty close to the official site just a bit higher. But you can't book from the official site without a Vietnamese credit card

I believe it was 5 million vnd total for both tickets
it's Saigon. Not Ho city.
