Being a musician, it takes a little bit more to impress me. And I am not at all impressed. I am blown away. This song is challenging with 8 musicians playing in perfect sync. And to tune a guitar to facilitate this song is brilliant. Genius. And I am sorry I have not been acquainted with your music, but I damn sure will watch for you sir. Thank you so much for posting this Metheny material. And yes, I also am impressed..beyond measure.

First Circle might be my favourite composition of all time, so I always appreciate anyone's take on it. This is beyond impressive. I had to sit in silence for a bit afterwards just to process it. Well done.

This performance was so pristinly done that I kept "hearing" a back-track when there really was none... As if he was playing more than one instrument! What an amazing talent and flawless execution... It just blows my musical mind! Simply exquisite, like a Maestro, Bravo!!

Absolutely Brilliant!!! “The First Circle” is one of the greatest musical compositions of all time. You have very beautifully captured on so guitar a song that took 5 great musicians to play on the original CD. Great Job! 👏🏻 Thank You! 🙏🏻 I absolutely love Pat’s and Lyle’s music! People will be performing and list to their music 200 years from now like people listen to Mozart, Bach, and Beethoven today.

One of my favorite PMG songs. I never would have imagined that a solo guitarist could have covered this song this well. Dan somehow brings to life not only the guitar, but the vocal lines, keyboards and percussion. Unbelievable arrangement and virtuosic playing!
