From what I see, this is an Ex-TRE car! TRE (aka Trinity Railway Express) is a commuter agency based out of Dallas/Fort Worth Texas. They had a few of them running while the F59PHs and BBLs were being delivered, with the cars going to the DCTA to start their services in the early 2010s. They were later returned and sold to other railroads. Glad to see one still operating!

Nice to hear it still has its Canadian sand-cast K3L horn.

These cars we're originally Canadian National and Canadian Pacific RDC's that we're repatriated back to the US.

There are several RDC's still used by VIA in Canada and several more preserved in Museum's both in Canada and the US.

It's cool that David was there talking about those RDC cars. I really hope we can get them running here in Vermont on commuter rail service. Now the Ethan Allen Express has been extended from Rutland to Burlington and eventually the Vermonter will be extended to Montreal returning the montrealer service. Having regional rail in Vermont would just add to everything. Thanks for the video. Very interesting
