What's the difference between a tour modified and an SK modified? Very interested to know and grow my knowledge of the only real sport left, American oval racing dirt and asphalt.

im guessing its mostly horsepower.tour mods have more take off speed than sk mods.

The difference between Tour Type Modifieds and SKs is the engine. SKs run a 350 and the Tour Type run a 358. SKs make 400 HP and Tour Type make 600 HP

ovals, I'd rather race cross country, start and finish, like 200 miles. Then the field would spread out. This is an accident waiting to happen.

Seekonk Speedway? does it still have races? I loved that place!😃

Seekonk Speedway is still around and they have a Tour race this summer but I don't remember the exact date

@ThomasWBaldwin I have never been to Seekonk but I have been to the 3 tracks here in Connecticut. I live 25 minutes from Stafford and I was actually just at Thompson over the weekend

Hope the prize is worth all the damage. Looks expensive!
