Many car manufacturers could distinguish the advantages of the four-wheel-drive system, especially, “Audi”, “Lancia”, “Subaru” or “Mitsubishi”. At some point, due to the 4WD system, these manufacturers were able to crush their opponents in World Rally Championships.
