In Episode 2, we really start to begin our adventure and explore the Malaysian capital City, Kuala Lumpur.
We give our first impressions of the city by showing you our apartment at the Ceylonz Starlight Suites in Bukit Bintang and the stunning views from the pool.
We take to Kuala Lumpur by night by visiting the nearby Petaling Street, Chinatown, and try some food at one of the many restaurants.
The next morning we explore the city of Kuala Lumpur, taking in the street murals just behind Jalon Alor. This was an initiative to make a rundown part of the city more attactive to tourists.
We then take in some breakfast on Jalon Alor before heading around Bukit Bintang's shopping district, and paying a visit to the indoor Theme Park at Berjaya Times Square.
We then head over to the Petronas Towers and view them twin towers via the KLCC park
To finish off our first full day in Kuala Lumpur, we again head to Jalon Alor and try some food, as well as some street food.

The breakfast chicken rice you guys had at Jalan Alor, the soup is not for dipping your chicken instead for drinking. Dipping your chicken in diluted its flavors, best way is to have the chicken meat with its soya sauce with rice together and eating chicken meat with its sauce only will be more salty by itself. As for drinks, always mix them up before drinking as the sugar layer is always at the bottom in majority of Malaysian drinks.

Usually, if you’re given rice on a plate, it’s easier to eat with fork & spoon (don’t be shy to ask for cutleries if they are not available on the table). You use chopsticks if you are given a bowl of rice. The fried dough, yes, goes nice with coffee & coconut jam called kaya (try it). My late father-in-law (a Canadian) liked it a lot.

to be honest, for me petaling street or jalan alur is not the best place to review malaysian food. and as a tourist attraction, it is also a bit expensive. you can try nasi lemak at Nasi Lemak Wanjo kampung baru KL, roti canai and teh tarik at any mamak restaurant, ramli burger (street food), nasi kerabu, char koay teow, laksa, nasi kandar etc.

You are most likely correct Lanz as we didn't find the food to be the best, but for our short and limited time there it was quick and easy really. @Continental Coxon's not sure about that. Although there are thai communities in Malaysia, I can say Chinese and indians here do not often consume it. Malays usually like tomyam. That is about it. Perhaps the occasional coconut glutinous rice with mango. This is because the green chilli is spicy and plus sour, stomach cannot handle it too much.
