5 months ago I lost my only older brother in a very tragic car accident, in my room asking God to give me a word. Because the pain was very strong, I asked God to speak to me and bring comfort to my heart. listening to music of another type, suddenly he put play this song without me putting it on! and God spoke to my life and brought a peace that I can't explain, he hugged me and used this beautiful song to lift me up. If you are going through a difficult situation in your life, without a doubt God is in control of your life and your heart God bless the one that God used to write this beautiful song.

In worship at church, my eyes are always drawn to the drummer! I love to see them participating in the worship.. The psalm says, let the instruments praise the Lord! That’s what they are doing! This brother gives life to the drums as it praise the Lord! To God be the glory!

Man!! The drummer in me was full time stank face but the believer in me kept going all out abandonment praise and worship. Absolute masterpiece my friend.

I love HB’s style. It all about texture! The small fills go a long way. 🚀

Ok I came here for direction for this sundays set, and man, this is amazing. There is a fine line between playing the parts and doing too much. I’m a firm believer that too much drumming will take away from the overall atmosphere of the room. But man did you NAIL THIS! I strive to be the worship drummer this guy is. Man! @@Donwilliams23 we ended up not doing it on Easter because we instead did getting ready by maverick city but we did do this song about 3 times from when I commented this at church and it went great! One of my buddies (a black drummer) said he was shook and said it was so in the pocket and that he was impressed and he was getting into it

Hate to be in the minority here but in person it must’ve been the mixing or the room but I was at passion 2022 and that snare sounded like a Powerade bottle being thrown at the ground, and way too loud. The snare from Passion or from Brooke Fraser was a much more powerful sound. Drumming is on-point though

Spoiler alert: this isn’t worship.

Last night I got an email from my landlord organization that they are giving me an ultimatum. Either I pay a $150 rent increase with deposit month to month, or I agree to a 12 month lease with rent increase and deposit. I won’t be taken advantage of, especially when the organization has not fulfilled the maintenance requests I have submitted since last year. I am still looking for work and am trusting God to bless me with the money needed to pay this months bills. I decided that I will just move. That night I went to sleep and dreamt of a young actress, woman of color. Me and this guy were so excited to see her because she had this breakthrough role on a show. She was walking in a fenced alleyway behind a house when we were hugging her. She told us her role was turning into some story similar to a name she mentioned of a young man of color who was shot by police. Then we see a woman on the back of a truck screaming at the top of her lungs. The actress told us the woman was being informed by the drivers that she had just lost her son. Then the actress pointed to two people in state uniforms who were walking side by side towards the woman’s house. She told us these people were there to confirm the death of the woman’s son. Suddenly, a young man came running towards us in desperation so we ran in the house and closed the gate. The man was trying to enter and hide but we were afraid because that was the man they had pronounced dead. The actress and the first man left. I came out and started walking with the man that had now turned into a boy who had been deeply hurt. He had the needle that was in his harm to help with the sickness, although he was no longer sick. It was just the residue from what he had been harmed with before. The boy walked with me towards his house. At some point, I think he held my hand. It was proof that the boy they had pronounced dead was indeed alive, and he was with me. When I was waking up out of this dream, this song began to play in my head. A young woman at my church likes to sing it on stage but I hadn’t heard the song outside of service and I didn’t know the words. So when I woke up I decided to play it. I consider this Gods message to me. No matter what appears to be happening, he won’t fail, and things that were dead he has brought back to life.
