It's one of the coolest game setting anime I saw. But "correctly" idk, it still have the usual issues with games in fictions like overly specific events that only 1 player out of 1000000 gets to experience and broken stuff like a consummable that hard counters an entire playstyle

I agree with both. It does *feel* like a game, and I also like that it regularly incorporates other games that exist in this world (though I do wonder why some of them are Always Online). I also agree that the more anime-like aspects of "this one guy figured it out alone" like players don't regularly talk to each other is a bit off.

@@naproupimost arpg's have loot drops like that and hidden events. As for gatcha/consummable it's been very much a thing that people exploit potions of resists etc to hard counter mages or even rune drops in diablo 2 (e.g. a zod run can take you a decade of constant playing to aquire one...but getting one means getting to make some op gear as well). As for events...i mean diablo 2 had the stone of jordan selling which meant it was only up for like a few minutes every now and then and you had to be logged in to participate. That was a pretty specific activity with few players who could do that consistently (clone hunting) lol. I'm sure there are other games like this with similar situations...

@@trololkhil9868 Most hidden event gets done by hundreds of players two weeks after someone discover them Also there's a difference between an hidden major storyline like what we get here and in most game anime, a storyline that took time and energy to code, and would be totally wasted if not enough people played it, and just one rune that can be added in the game over a 2 minutes coding session and that doesn't require any special event just a lot of luck

I've seen wrist mounted dogs before, but wrist mounted rabbits are new.

After this episode i feel like Bilac is my second most loved character after sunraku, her fight style is soo amazing.
