Firework Show Cleanup (4th of July 2022)

Ойын-сауық

All good things must come to end, and unfortunately, this is the cleanup video from my 4th of July 2022 firework show! The few items that did not fire were very obvious to me during the show and were disappointing since they were a part of some of my chases, but overall it was still a successful show! I'm second guessing if the unfired product I found was actually those brocade sky mines after watching the show video again. Looks like those all went, so I'm not sure what the product is. The safe thing to do would be to let them soak in water for at least 24 hours and then discard them. I'm going to keep them in case we want to do some testing in the future haha.

    Hey man great video and I think more pyros should do clean up videos. Or what it looks like after the show. One of the biggest reasons I didn't do a show this year was because everybody comes to watch but no one seems to want to help out and it takes hours to clean. Keep up the great work and in my opinion you're still the best pyro on KZread. 💥💥💥👍👍👍

    Thank you man! You're totally right, more help during cleanup would be greatly appreciated. Started the day at 7:30 AM and didn't get home until 1:30 AM. Went back out between 10 AM - 12 PM the next day for daytime cleanup too. Just a few extra bodies would shave hours off setup/cleanup.

    The 2nd song you'll see the other Jellyfish going off and the one on the right is missing. You'll see the comets/mines missing on the right in some of those chases right before that too

    Great video, Don't you just hate it when something doesn't go off! I had 2 mjg's misfire in my show Saturday night. One was supposed to start a 2 minute string in the middle of my show. I'll work on perfection for next year! Once again enjoy your shows and style. Thanks!!

    After I clean up all the shell racks and cake carcasses, my wife hops on the riding lawnmower and pulls a sweeper behind her, which collects all those little bits and blows them into a bag for easy dumping. Save me from a ton of raking in the hot sun.

    I had one of those last year, but the person we borrowed it from was out of town this year, so a bit more manual cleanup. Those work sooo good though!

    How would you know that a shell already went without looking at the mortar with your head over that (which can have very tragic consequences)? Burn marks, or the covered foil in the shell totally disappeared?

  • @nunyabidness1972
    @nunyabidness19722 жыл бұрын

    Exactly why I don't use foil. Cheap duct tape holds together better from the mortar blasts, leaving you a few pieces of wadded up/singed duct tape to pick up, instead of the foil confetti everywhere. The 3M "magic" tape works very well too, but is kinda pricey if you need a bunch of it.

    I did notice a few things that looked a little odd. Makes sense that certain things didn't go off but that's the risk you take. Still an amazing show! And how do you spell those aerial spinner things? You had? The sound of those things are very unique.

    Yeah, you'll see those comets/mines missing in the right position during some of the chases unfortunately. That's when they are most noticeable. The girandolas that had three go off? Or you mean the tourbillions that were more fanned out?

    I had 5 or 6 MJG's not popped all the way from my COBRA and I had brand new energizer industrial in both modules. I had 4-5 500gram cakes a nice sized 1/1 and my 14 200gram cakes(that were fused together) for finale not go . No one watching show noticed , but when you script it out to look a certain way, it kinda bothers me.

  • @JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics

    @JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics

    I totally hear you there. I couldn't quite figure out why mine did not fire either. I assumed it was a short on the cue or the MJG that caused the module to short out for a period of time, but based on my script timing and the module being in ematch mode (0.1s firing time), it doesn't make sense how it didn't fire for 10 ish seconds.
