I have a phantom v3 with almost 10k miles on it with a 34 tooth sprocket that would top out at 41mph on flat ground with my 250lbs on it at 65°f and 26" wheels.. I took my dremel and ported and matched the intake and exhaust ports and lowered my jet to the highest setting, and run 25/1 mix and now I hit 50 mph on flat ground.. 52 if i run 93 octane... The phantom is a beast!!!!!❤

I went and bought. 025" copper plate from the hardware store. And cut out my own head gasket. Then I heated it up with a propane torch to cherry red and let it cool naturally. This anneals the copper (takes out the work hardening from the manufacturing process) and makes it much softer for a way better seal than the aluminum gaskets. And boy did I notice a difference instantly! I also have mine on a trike built off of a schwinn stingray and a headstrom rearend. My rear end has independent axles with freewheels on both axles. So I always have two wheel positive traction going forward and one wheel can turn faster than the other so I can turn corners. But I have to start the engine with the pedals. So that puts my sprocket ratio at 25 to 22. Otherwise I have to literally stand on the crank to start the bastard. Which is ok unless I have a breakdown. Then pedaling at a near 1 to 1 ratio is tedious.

Thanks for the video 📹. Just picked up the max. Should be fun. Wow that phantom 👻 😅 is something else 😳 👏 😍
Didn’t expect the phantom to run so good. Kinda Impressed
Great vid bud. One day I'll get my hands on a Phantom 85......one day🤤
Thanks for the info very helpful
Where can I purchase one of those engine stands you are using to work on the engine? I've looked everywhere but can't find them.
Great video 📹 Can you share with us what set up do you have far is front and rear sprocket
Bro may I ask what size is your tires at the phantom 85 is it 26ER?
the exhaust leak sounds great! Could you please do comparison of a YD85 52mm engine?
I've got a question. I noticed you have a disc brake on the rear of the silver bike. Did you modify it to work with the chain sprocket? I'm looking for a bike for the engine I just ordered and I would prefer disk brakes.
Bro in the phantom 85 the Fzero frame what size is the fork and the rims?.... Is it 26ER?
Which tooth would be best I’m thinking the 44 but I don’t know more sounds better but what do I know
That breaking up at high rpm is because the magneto doesn't put out enough power for the dual spark plug CDI...it won't do that with the single plug set up IV got that same engine and IV tested it both ways

What oil do you use for this engine? I can’t seem to find what’s mentioned in the instructions as “Valvoline Two Stroke Racing Oil,” is this the same as Valvoline multi purpose oil for two stroke engines? I also already have Lucus’s semi-synthetic 2-Cycle oil, is it safe to use?

It is soviet union engine f 80 and f100 what's was copied by China 🇨🇳 and sell it to you for 600% more of the real price) but soon in usa black monkeys says to you to drive only with bml flag and suckoff for LGBT) u pure usa. Still think that you exists lol
So I've built a bike with stock Zenoah 29cc and I promise it will leave either of these bikes long beyond the blue Smoke🤙 I do like the manual clutch on bike kits but motors just don't compare to RC motors.

Really wanna buy my first engine…that being said it would mostly be used for commuting. My daily commutes are between 8 and 15 miles and around 20-30 minutes. I need something reliable but also fairly quick as I’d like to get there within the same time as a car. I was looking at both these engines as well as a bbr 66/80cc and a Zeda 80. Just not sure what to go with. I need something I can hop on and just go with whenever though. Please help. Looking for some good reliable options and resources. People who have used these engines for over 1,000 miles that can honestly say they’ve been great with little to no down time.

You will need to collect multiple clutch and throttle cables. A few cdi to have on hand. A billet sprocket adapter. A 36t gear. Nt speed carb. Don't even bother with that HP carb. Buy a couple carb jet kits. Mz65 exhaust pipe. A silencer muffler from Amazon. Gold HD chain. Dual brake lever. Billet throttle assembly. SS bicycle brake cables for your clutch and throttle cable. Exhaust wrap the chamber and Coat it in high temp copper Silicone to keep it from coming apart and getting on your clothing and to keep from burning yourself. A bigger gas tank. I gasket port matched and so on for exhaust and intake. Good tires and brakes. Brakes don't have to be disc. Just make sure to use the proper compound for high speed. More for like dh mtb

Phantom 85 is hands down a stronger and better built engine. However, not for the beginner. You should still tear down the case and do a thorough cleaning, chase all the mounting threads including cylinder and use locktite blue on the studs! Then you'll have a reliable motor

If it bogs at high rpm or you feel like it hits a sort of "Rev limiter" before it should the u prlly need a bigger jet, unless you can adjust the needle more than it already is.
Should get the expansion chamber pipe they offer
