And if none of these methods work, carefully take the charger cable out. Gently place the firestick on the floor. Slowly, and be patient now guys, raise your leg about 1 and a half to 2 ft off the floor. Then release said leg and use your foot to stamp that bastard of a firestick into the floor. Don't be scared folks. Just keep stamping until it's gone from one single device into multiple pieces.

None of this worked, the amazon logo doesn't even come up when I turn it on. I was watching it and half way through a programme the whole thing just went black, almost as if it has short circuited or something! 🤔 I did 'jail break' the firestick about 2years ago, so if it's broke because of that I guess I got a good run out of it! X

I’m in the same fix you’re in, but had you gone in and made some changes in your applications setting? I tried removing stuff to clear room in the memory. After that is when the next time I went to use it I’m now stuck in a boot loop. But you may have been found out by Amazon security team and they might have zapped your stick. But have you tried performing this more elaborate fix using an OTG cable and keyboard and go into safe mode and check for errant code entries and delete those to recover your stick to where It was prior to it blanking out on you? From those on YT who have it’s worked. Don’t know if it will on yours but give it a try. It’s already not functioning as it is. Just a suggestion.

@@hxd9321 Yeah, my remote randomly disconnects sometimes and takes forever to reconnect. Somewhere else on the tube, I got advice to unplug and plug back in and my firestick wouldn't power up at all after that. It works now, but it's been so long I don't remember what I did.

Tried all of these.....found the problem. My pet rats ate my fire stick power cord. These methods do work though.

The 60 second one didn't quite work
