Could this also be used to vacuum up a cremated relative?

Dustpan and brush works for me, maybe doesn't get as clean as with vacuum cleaner but does it really need to for a regularly used fireplace? Also 140°F (60°C) doesn't seem particularly hot in terms of ash and possible embers from fire - a melted brush is much cheaper to replace :) Must be some fun use for the blow function though...

I need narrower longer flexible attachments for my wood stove. I AM using a regular vacuum just shoving a braided hose into the narrow attachment sealing around it. It works for getting those hard to reach places in around the flu vent. So-so efficiencies

Its an amazing gadget. I'll buy this i have big fireplace and everytime i clear i always spend 10/15 minutes. So with this i can clear it in a 5 minutes or more less. Thank you Taras, greetings from Italy.

Nice vac. You really need a fireplace insert, something that doesn't let all the heat go up the chimney. It's basically a wood burning stove that goes into the fireplace hole.

I think that cloth filter is washable also! I have another vacuum that has a cloth filter like that and I wash it periodically.
