The story’s are just so different than the story’s in Genshin…it’s slowly starting to become my favorite.

Relatively new to this game and I just got done with this scene knowing full well the spoilers up to this point. All I can say is that this scene is beautiful and I love it! Which is why it kills me knowing what’s about to happen next. And yes I know she turns out fine and is really Sam, but still what’s about to happen is going to feel like a knife in the heart.

Oh HELL NO. This is turning into a Mother's Rosario with a Hoyo-style twist isn't it.

How many times have I watched this scene lol? Still the best scene in all of Star Rail.

The text of that place changes after 2.1 and after 2.2 too.

Finding out the VA burst into tears recording this scene cause her own illness brought out the emotions This just made this scene feel so much more real than before

Wait she still not dead. They only die in the dreamscape which is the real body is still alive. and Remember the trailblazer and archeron in the jump of the train. THE MC dies but alive in the real world. So their is a possibility.

When I saw this scene and the photo , I knew Star rail writers were having a field day (playing with our emotions) with her cause they were putting so much care/love for this character and I was right, I expected it to happen but I still want to believe she is alive cause it was too easy to end it like that. Note: Being a animation student, where we have to learn in and outs of story writing fundamentals made most stories/shows/movies/games predictable to certain extend unless like Star wars "'I am your father." or No Country for Old men ending are exceptional. Gosh sometimes its a cursed to have this knowledge cause it ruined a lot of things for me.

If you go to the spot where Firefly got stabbed, you can find her phone with the picture on the ground

HOYO had no reason to Kill Firefly like that 😭

I still dont understand why people think she is actually gone for good. Like i think it couldn't be more blatantly obvious that Firefly is Sam's pilot. The similarities are there and we know Sam isnt just a killing machine because we actually chat with him. Just think of him as the HSR version of Mechamaru from JJK. You see when a character is killed there has to be a reason behind it. Firefly's "death" literally served no purpose, so if she does end up being actually dead dead then its just bad writing as the only thing it accomplished was shock value.

BROOOO.... we share the exact same experience.. Robin and Firefly was the only char I genuinely care saving for if they ever to be playable. But after finishing the story quest.. you know how it feels. I know its honkai. Dead people can still be playable but, still the feelings of not one but two character you care about getting stabbed and slashed on screen was too much... And I lost 50/50 to Bailu.. C2 now.. my day is ruined

​@@Dino-yy9tq I finished the main quest, I am confused on what they are trying to tell me I dont understand what they are trying to get at with the "truths" but what I do know is I dont have a single care about firefly, I dont care about her past, I dont care about her sob story, I hate when hoyo shills characters like this, they are trying so hard to force you to care when she is so boring as a character, I dont care if she is dead or not, if the whole story will revolve around getting "revenge" the penacony story is going to suck, If I get the option to choose not to go after her or do things involving her, id take it in a heartbeat lol, give me something interesting instead

@@AubreyMK I highly doubt the story is going to be a revenge route even if they give us a choice tbh. Either or, it'll probably be a choice between factions vying for power over penacony. Tbf on you we are in the beginning of the main questline so they've left many things unanswered, there's a neat little easter egg you can prolly find on youtube or smth if you don't accept aventurine's invitation that shows you the outcome of the questline if you choose not to play along

@@Dino-yy9tq yeah we only have 1/3 of the story I think, I didnt know if you could not go with aventurine, I didnt see the choice to not to side with someone I just followed what the quest said, I even read the description cause it seemed they where trying to give me a choice, anyways I saw that she was dead in the tub, I think I would probably think different later but I dont want to go through the story with the pretense that I care is all, ive see theories that she is actually sam and I dont know if that would make me more mad that we are forced to pretend to care about her or not, just depends how it plays out. I will keep an open mind though
