I totally agree and what else is know if they were white they would being calling for the whole city council and including the mayors head . It's tragic how we as a black race allow nonsense to happen to our people and we don't come together ‼️

As a former firefighter, I can't imagine how they could do that. We've been known to search for pets after all the people were out. It's fundamental to the job to save the people before we worry about saving property. These people need to be charged with murder or at least manslaughter in addition to dereliction of duty. This is why you can't have racists working in the government.

I agree with most of what you were saying with the exception that… if my husband, brother or father was a fireman, I would not appreciate him being required to risk HIS life to save an animal. For human beings yes, but for an animal, NO. (which by the way, does not have a soul) We as human beings must get our priorities straight. Animals are not on the same level as a human. And yes, I know there are pet lovers (and I like pets as well) who are going to be angry with that statement but I won’t take it back. Now, if he happens to see the animal on his way in and out and it is within reach to where he does not have to risk his life, well then by all means, rescue the animal as well.

@@mlanae20 I agree with you 100% about saving people before animals. That’s just obvious. I would also totally agree with your anger about a loved one putting their life at risk over an animal. I’m not quite sure that’s even part of their ‘rules’, honestly. However, what I do disagree with is your belief that animals have no soul. That could be true for quite a bit of species, reptiles for example. But, as far as domesticated pets are concerned, I highly disagree. There are a very large amount of stories, not only telling, but have proven that some animals put their own lives in jeopardy to save a human…in some cases, even a wild animal (whales, dolphins, bears, etc.). Dogs, especially, show unconditional love until the end of their unfortunately short lives. Humans could learn from this, but most do not. If it has been proven that an animal will put its life in harms way for a human or another animal, and if it has been proven that animals can show unconditional love to humans and other animals, how can you believe they do not have souls?

Just think about the mother’s actions and bond towards their offspring, in most species. That should say a lot. I just don’t think you can have feelings without a soul. But first, in response to you sharing your reasons as to why you believe they have a soul, I also will share why I do not believe they have a soul….First, dogs (animals) were SPOKEN into existence the same as the sun, moon, insects, the ocean, landscape etc. Whereas man was FORMED from the dust of the earth at which point God breathed his OWN breath into him and caused him to have life. But not so with a dog (or any other beast, insect etc.). Secondly, with man now having the breath of God and life in him, he is the only one in which God requires that he receives salvation,(and a relationship with him,) of which the word of God has told him that in order to do this, he must repent, be baptized, and filled with the Holy Ghost so that he may receive eternal life and not hell….No such thing is was extended to animals (or the rest of creation)they can’t even ask to be baptized and cannot speak in tongues. Therefore, they are not the same as man who was given a soul. And yes, I realize that I may be speaking to someone who may not have the same religious beliefs as myself and that is okay. I just thought it only right since you gave your reasoning/thoughts on the subject, that it would only be right that I share mine as well. So again, we can respectfully agree to disagree🙂.

When my house caught on fire about 10 yrs ago, you guys WALKED INTO THE FIRE for a precious possession of mine. !!!!!!!

I live right outside of Flint and never heard of this. This is so wrong. Those kids deserved better.

As a retired fire chief with over 44 years in fire protection (1981 - 2016 in active fire departments with the DOD) this is unconscionable!!! Mayor of Flint, you have blood on your hands. How dare you reach for some stupid " lack of smoke detectors"??????!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!

It's because they have nothing else to stand on. They try to make the parents villains, which doesn’t work either. This video came out yesterday, yet they think the fire happened in October. The fire took place Memorial Day weekend. It's been nearly 5 months and the parents don't have neglect charges. Attacking the parents makes no sense if they are not legally responsible. Attacking the firefighters who didn’t even go to the 2nd floor…the ones who got caught lying-that makes sense.

@@brdman8667 There are laws to placement of smoke detectors. All smoke detectors has to be hard wiredwith a battery backup, leaving that up to the tenant is dangerous and irresponsible. It could lead to a multitude of problems that the tenant would have to pay for. Also, it is illegal to make holes in a property that's not owned by you unless otherwise stated on the lease. It is not idiotic to blame the landlord for not installing smoke detectors, it is the law.

Don’t leave it up to strangers to do what u should have been doing! Making sure there were working smoke alarms in the home n making sure adults are on the premise to lead n guide the children out. 12 n 9 year old boys should not be left alone at home!!!!

Just because the parents might’ve irresponsible doesn’t absolve the firefighters for their dereliction of duty. As a human and a father I'm and very sad for the deaths of these beautiful children! I am also very sad for the condition of this country and our world as a whole.

What’s interesting is that two other firefighters checked the home after them after the “all clear”. This is heartbreaking.

These guys didn't care and they should be brought up charges.

He walked into my godsister's salon, and instead of criticizing me based on racial biases, he recognized that I was opiate sensitive and asked my sister if I was on medication. She told him that I had just came from oral surgery and they gave me pain medication. Thankfully, I had only taken half the prescribed dose and he was observant. The ER doctor said I could have died but for his intervention.

An update here, the second firefighter has since also resigned. The chief who recommended they be fired was himself fired after refusing to change his recommendation, he is suing the city and the mayor for $10 million. Apparently the mayor was running for reelection and wanted the support of the fire department which is why he sided with the two firefighters.

I am a captain at a fire department and this pisses me off!! You never say ' All Clear' until you know for a fact its all clear!!! We always use risk assessment before going to rescue! There definitely wasn't much risk involved in this search in rescue!! Scary ass firefighters!!

This is the worst case scenario for any fitefighter. Searching for children is harder. The search of victims is to find and rescue them. If anyone is missed, and later found, it brings shame to the profession. It's definitely time to sue the city, mayor, fire department, and each firefighter individually.

A black guy did a video he said he was eating at a restaurant and a white retired fire fighter started a conversation with him saying back in the 60s and 70 s when he was a fire fighter he use to go in black homes and apartment's to put out fires and looked right in babies eyes and toddlers in cribs and playpens and left them there to burn alive . He claims he is being haunted by his decisions and havent had any rest at all his conscience what little bit he have is tormenting him . How can any one regardless of color let another human being die ,especially children.....just leave someone to burn alive ignoring the blood curling screams . So sad and heartless . I heard a 911 call of a elderly white woman that was trapped in her cabin had hip surgery and couldnt get out ,the operator stayed on the phone with her and said the fire fighters was at her house, they were there but never intered and you could here her dying you literally could here the flames crackling and her crying out in pain as she burned alive ,and the firemen were outside making videoscof the fire burning .

Yeah, I watched that horrific evil demon! He never spent one day in prison.

🖐These fire fighters are unfit to wear this uniform and should be fired immediately 😡

This is sick and sad and disturbing on so many levels. Have not the Black people of Flint suffered enough by the hands of it's evil, money hungry, unscrupulous politicians and those hired to protect and serve them! My last living most precious senior relative, my 88 y/o great aunt lives in Flint and she won't leave. I'm 54 and flew out from Cali every summer as a kid, and flying in now and to see the destruction makes me cry. It's almost like a desolate wasteland, every other home abandoned, boarded up or burnt down, no stores, no mall, no clean water, no resources; squators lived next door to my aunt for years like they owned the home and almost died when they built a fire inside to stay warm and burned the house down. The wreckage remains and no efforts are ever made to improve the community. They simply do not care at all about us and our communities but one day they will answer to THEE ONE WHOM THE GOV'T IS UPON HIS SHOULDERS. I'm so very sorry those babies were left to die like that, I pray THE LORD took their spirit so they felt nothing, I pray this mother is comforted in her mind so that she does not lose it playing it over in her head what her children must have gone through that night, and I pray the firefighters who left them to burn never forget and never have peace of mind with what they did.

The fact that the Flint, Michigan mayor was behind the choice to not discharge the firefighter for criminal negligence that lead to two deaths proves that there is spiritual wickedness in high places. The mayor of Flint, Michigan is in a high place of authority, and it's deeply spiritually wicked to imply with one's actions that firefighter salaries and employment positions are more valuable than the lives of those 2 children. What took place in that house was race-based, careless, criminally negligent, and it sent numerous messages to the people of Flint: If you are low-income and African American in a life-threatening situation in which your life may depend on a white firefighter, how likely are you to live or die? Is the firefighter affiliated with a white supremacist social group? Who will they make false reports on next? How can you be sure that it won't be you? It's a bad idea to leave your life and safety up to an indifferent, outside third party, but things at times happen that's outside of our control. Relying on God is always the best solution, but our environment would be safer if we had the assurance that emergency personnel were truly unbiased and impartial and if not that then at the very least assure the community that such personnel will be brought up on criminal charges, fines, and jail time. The mayor has undermined the system of checks and balances because of the money he gets for his interests from the fire department. 😢😕😒

Indeed. There is a spiritual darkness at work in America in regards to racism and other things. It seems as though we blacks are especially cursed.

This is a damn shame it makes you think how many times those two firefighters have allow others to die at their hands, they need to reopen every case those two was ever involved with.

Why are some of us surprised that they can be this evil? Their History says it all.

Those children's lives could have possibly been saved. 💔 May they rest in peace. 👑👑🙏🏾🕊💫 I pray that their mother get justice.

No No No .Why would anybody try to save them when they clearly didn’t care about these children .They should be locked up and should never be able to serve as a firefighter ever again Period.The Mayor needs to go home to.

We've seen some bad emergency respondent too. Like the female that kicked the senior man out of her emergency vehicle because he was having a panic attack and wasn't nice to her. All she had to do was take him to the hospital, but she stopped half way and and called the cops to get him out and dumped him on the sidewalk. The man collapsed right in front of all of them and died in the gutter. On the other hand, there's the nurse that stood her ground and refused to violate a man's rights and take blood from a suspect without a warrant and was arrested by the cop that ordered her to do as he said.

This is negligent homicide and they should be facing charges! This is disgusting that the mayor and anyone else would allow this to go unpunished. To attack a grieving family is disgusting as well. The 2 fire fighters and the mayor should be in jail!!!

This is so sad. I can’t imagine what she’s going through to lose 2 kids at the same time. My deepest condolences to the family. Praying for them all healing, comfort, and daily strength

They need to be fired and locked up in prison forever, this is so sad,I hope the family sues

It is very possible they DID find those children in that room. They just made the decision to leave them there. This is how this case should be looked at; they wrote in the report they CHECKED the room, which means they were fully aware of the boys being in there and purposefully left them to die. That's how this case should be looked at.

You ARE ABSOUTELY RIGHT.THE MAYOR AND THESE TWO FIREFIGHTERS SHOULD BE IN PRISON FOR LIFE AFTER LETTING THESE INNOCENT CHILDREN DIE IN THIS FIRE! ALSO,THEY MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THIS TERRIBLE TRAGEDY! I'm glad that you are not a judge... Its much more likely that that did a poor job and just said they checked the room..... Its obvious to me that they were not aware that kids were in the. It seems to me that the father was not there when the fire started or he would of taken his children to safety....... It seems as if he returned to see the fire and then informed firefighters that his kids were in the house and a new search was made. Its a tree strange that Dr Richie made no comment about the father except that they were at his home........ Where was the father? 🤔 I seriously doubt any sane person would see children and just turn away and leave them to die...... Dr Richie should report with a degree of fairness not always playing the race card.....

Or maybe they just didn't thoroughly check each room like they claimed in, fear for their own lives, which then makes you wonder.. why even be a firefighter if they ain't even gonna put their life on the line for others as they promised when they took that job.

This is why people who display apparent racism should lose their jobs. They will certainly allow their racism to dictate how they do everything including their jobs

I live in a medium sized port city in NW Ohio. I live in an area that would have been redlined not so long ago. Two years ago I suffered a catastrophic injury that I am still recovering from. About a year ago I had pneumonia. Late last spring my son had a bowel obstruction that had him violently vomiting right in front of the EMTs. Not one single time have they come into this house without being condescending and dismissive. At least twice they refused to transport us to the hospital only for them to be called back when the situation continues to deteriorate. At that time they end up transporting anyway. All of the wasted resources and detriment to our quality of life should never have even been a thing if they would just do their jobs humanely the first time around.

Thats wild.... they directly caused those childrens death. The children died DAYS later in hospital. Meaning those 6 minutes could have been the determining factor that kept them alive... Just horrendous. My husband lost his aunt - uncle and 3 cousins under the age of 10 in a fire on xmas eve... when they were kids.. the entire family was decimated... the house apparently had falty wiring... No one ever paid for it. My husbands 80 year old grandfather ... told me he had to identify all their bodies and that the two youngest kids died holding eachother.. their bodies were fused together and had to be buried together

Yeah it's working so well 4 the police officers, but the problem is they have total autonomy when they turn off and on and then you get the fact that they can purge them anytime they feel like it until they make it a little crime to delete footage without proper verification of information it still has way too many loopholes in it
