Firefighter Webbing Set-Up: Webbing in your sleeve

I like to store my webbing in between the inner and outer layer of my bunker coat. I leave a small loop hanging out of my sleeve, so I can grab it easily with my gloves on. My webbing is approximately 12 feet long, tied in a loop with a water knot.
The 1st clip shows how I load it into my sleeve. The next 2 clips show a simple girth hitch around the patients chest, to assist with dragging them out. The 4th clip is a demonstration of me deploying it, with reduced visibility (I use glad cling wrap on my face piece).
The only negative with this setup is sometimes the water knot gets caught on the clips that attach your inner and outer layers. However, you can shimmy the webbing to unhook the water knot from the clip.

For what it's worth; I think your videos are great and I admire the hell out of your dedication, brains, and ability. Just had a really good chief interview and hoping that I have a good chance of getting hired on in a department soon. When I do, I want to be like you. Thanks for your hard work!

I came here from another one of your videos to see how you stow the webbing. Thank you for sharing this impressive demonstration! 🌠

I use a 12ft piece of webbing tied into a 6ft loop with a water knot. I’ve also heard of people using 20ft piece of webbing tied into 10ft loop.
