My uncle lost his leg a few years ago and then, too soon after that, his ear. He wasn't able to get a prosthetic. He seemed to have a good attitude about it all, and I was convinced he'd have a killer zombie costume, but sadly he passed away just before Halloween. Your costumes give me joy, but also a little wistfulness. He was a good uncle, and a good painter. We used to watch The Princess Bride and Star Trek movies at his house every year for Christmas (a toss-up each year which of the two would get picked).

I have a bunch of my own medical issues but I’m getting through them, but it’s nice to see that they’re other people who are finding great and funny was to get through theirs 😊
