Awesome haul, nice to see you back at cvs! From my experience only the email 10 and 20% off work to trigger the 10/70 and it's funky if you redeem it like Tues thru Thurs or something crazy like that it doesn't give you anything. I usually use the email one and combine it with the paper one anytime from Friday to sun and I have one ready to use for the following week.

I have never used the 40% off, but Everytime I have used my 10% or 20% off on Friday it has been triggering a flash 10/ off 70 which usually expires in a day or 2... So it doesn't give u much time to use it .. but it has been working for me for the last 6 weeks... I usually save a deal that is like buy 1 to get back an extra Buck that will be low out of pocket. But I heard some people just go use it on a coke ...

But they have recently changed the CRTs and added product photos so now they look alike 😩 you can still tell though because mfr coupons have a lot more wording and fine print. You can click “show details” on the coupons to read fine print and the manufacturer ones have a whole paragraph starting with “limit 1 coupon per purchase”. The CRTs have much less and it says “extra care card required”. ALSO the CRTs are still all listed at the top and manufacturer coupons are at the bottom. Although they used to divide and label the manufacturer coupon section 🥴

Some of them extend when they are clipped or printed. I go through on Saturdays and clip any that haven’t printed yet, because if they already printed on a receipt they won’t extend. I had taken a long break from cvs so usually they give you some good CRTs to reel you back in lol

You just clip them in the app on Saturdays IF they haven’t printed yet on a receipt. If they’ve printed they won’t extend. And even then not all of them extend for me it’s weird 😅

Mine only sporadically trigger the 10/70. 😢

Also, do have all this wrote down or on something we can get a copy of you talk really fast ....which I like mostly except when I'm trying to write it all down about the coupons n extra bucks n the other things like that with the amounts and what you're getting back. No, unfortunately I don’t have it written down but I will see if I can come up with something. I definitely don’t recommend clipping ALL the coupons because you can’t unclip them. Sometimes we will get more than one coupon for an item and you only want to have the higher value one clipped. So I suggest only clipping the high value ones that you think you will use. New coupons come out on Sundays, and there’s a new cvs ad that starts every other Sunday. You can go on Sundays if you want but you don’t have to. I do a lot of my cvs shopping on Mondays.

I have never received a $10/$70. Ya'll are lucky.

It doesn’t matter what the percentage is, but for me when I use the first one they give me a second one. Then after I use the second one that’s when I get the $10 off $70

Ohhh I did get another percent off that printed when I used it. I wonder if using that would’ve done it. That’s a bummer though to have to use 2 coupons in order get the coupon you want 🫠

I think it’s just the 20% off and 10% off that trigger the threshold coupon. I just bought a cheap chocolate candy and used my 20% off the next morning I got my threshold coupon. Be sure not to use any ecbs

Some of the CRTs extend when you clip them (like the expiration date extends to the following week) so I like to do that on Saturdays for any of the ones that haven’t printed yet and then I can use them in the next weeks deals. If they’ve already printed on a receipt they won’t extend

It’s a cvs store coupon that gives you an extra $10 off a $70 purchase. When we get one we can use it with the deals we’re doing to make it an even better deal. I use the CVS app and also rebate apps like Ibotta, Fetch, Shopkick. For this haul I used Ibotta and fetch

Make sure you’re still signed up to receive emails in your account! If you are then I’d try turning that option off for a couple days and then resign up for emails

I still don't know how to use coupons at cvs how does work do you have to print the coupons? Does it work like Walgreens that you just add the coupons to your account and just put the number at the register? I tried I did add digital coupons in the cvs app the register girl ask for my number I gave it to her and it did not work can someone explain how I have to do it

You might not have the correct phone number attached to your account. You can go into your settings and check! The digital coupons should be coming off automatically if they’re clipped

Hey, girl!! I've never heard of people using a 40% and getting the treshold crt, but geesh, i don't know why it wouldn't work. Was your 40% off of one full priced item or off of your total purchase of full priced items? The 20% ones that i get (that DO work) are off of one item.

Wait, what day was it that you redeemed it? Tues, Wednesday, and Thursday don't work. Other than that, I'm not sure... It's cvs wanting to make us guess like Walgreens does. 😂

I’m so sorry to hear about that. I would definitely get signed up for the carepass first if you haven’t yet. You can do this at the register to make it easier, and I know the first month used to be free. I don’t know if it still is. But either way, it’s a great way to start because they give you a $10 carepass (extrabuck) on your account that you can use to start doing your deals. It’ll either be free for the first month or you’ll pay $5. Either way it’ll save you some money on your first trip. Then with that carepass, do a small transaction that totals up to at least $10 after coupons but is earning extra bucks back. Then you can use the $10 carepass and have a low out of pocket and get some more extrabucks to keep rolling. Keep doing small transactions with those extra bucks and try to do moneymaker deals like Covergirl to keep growing them! I like to have at least $30 in extra bucks on hand so just work your way up to that!
