Homage to the beastie boys. There are so many references in this song to the early 90's. It makes me happy.

No one, on any Ren reaction has nailed every reference, it’s crazy how even the video production (everything outside of the music) often references other musicians and other videos. Beasties would be proud.

Yeah the other 2 guys were there to make it feel more like a Beastie Boys video. Not sure he could have fully captured the vibe solo.

That’s my fav line from the whole song ‘flow could turn an atheist into a believer’. Ren is legendary, nothing he does misses the mark ever.

Ren usually uses his mates as extras in his videos. I’m assuming those are two of his buddies with him.

Yes they are his friends (it’s actually mainly three different guys across the whole video as well as Ren and the little crowd dancing at the end). One of them (guy in purple suit) is of his best friends and one of the guys who visited Ren in Canada for his birthday just a couple of weeks ago 👍

I guess we need to educate you on the Beastie Boys lol. Great reaction though! Also check out Blind Eyed with Sam Tompkins. Try to do one of the live versions and avoid the official music video. Ren said he regretted reworking the song for the music video and the live versions are how it was meant to be played.

You may be too young to remember but the song is a nod to the Beastie boys and if you've listened to any of their music you would probably get it. Couple of different scenes in the clothes he's wearing is a nod to Beastie boys videos not Ghostbusters. Great reactions keep it up
