For the record, for anyone saying Mimic doesn't mimic Gobbleygourd, it's mimicking the last sound in each of Gobbleygourd's "lines", for want of a better term, except for last one. It's a sorta call-and-response thing. So yes, it mimics Spurrit AND Gobbleygourd. :)

call-and-response usually isn’t mimicking. and if it IS mimicking the last sound in Gobbleygourd’s lines, explain “Yoo-hoo”. It doesn’t mimic Gobbleygourd, but it’s not a bad thing. It makes it on Fire Oasis cooler anyway.

i was expecting him to sing along side Kayna and Wynq, and him mimicking Spurrit and Gobbleygourd was really unexpected since they are seasonals, but it quite makes sense since he also is a ''hard to get'' monster, plus he looks goofy everytime he sings so I think thats enough, though I really wanted him to do a trio singing with Kayna and Wynq

Honestly, copying Kayna and/or wynq was what I genuinely hoped he wouldn’t do, just because would was totally waste his copying “ability” on a monster that’s already being copied. Thankfully he copies the most goofy monsters and just listen to him my goofy boi ❤️

1:05 gobbleygourd’s verse is so silly but also sounds good

This was a W update. I don’t know how many have realized but the addition of Epic Phangler means that Fire Oasis is ready for an Epic Wubbox, well… kind-of. It still needs the Rare Wubbox but either way it’s ready. In fact, I predict that Fire Oasis and Fire Haven will both get an Epic Wubbox at 2024 Feast-Ember (assuming Repatillo and Floogull get epic variants before and the Rare Wubbox on Oasis). This isn’t too far-fetched from happening as the Epic Wubbox on Water and Earth Island were released on the same day. Plus here it’s more fitting as Oasis and Haven are only ones considered “Fire Islands”.

idk man, it felt better when before gobbleygourd was added, it sounded so heavenly, and it unique in on itself because it had so many vocalists, and it sounded like pure bliss to the ears

i love this update so much, my favorite island before the fire expansion was fire oasis (was replaced by psychic island for fire expansion) then this update officially makes it my favorite island again

I love that Mimic is imitating both of the seasonals. I really dislike Gobleygourd but somehow, Mimic imitating them isn't that bad. And the way it immitates Spurrit is just cute I noticed that it mimicking both of them makes sense narrative-wise? Since Spurrit discovered it and Gobleygourd is a fellow real life bird
