Fire & Ice - Mandelbrot Fractal Zoom. (4k 60fps) (e510)

A Mandelbrot fractal zoom that I have rendered with a "Fire & Ice" colour scheme. This location is quite interesting because it almost never spirals! Magnification 3.5e310! I hope you like it. This location was requested by "Mateus Machado Fotografia". If you have any rendering requests, please leave the location in a comment.

I've recently had some questions about your technique for finding locations that do not spiral. I'm sure the viewers would value any information you wish to share.

Hi my friend! Do you remember me? I asked you to do this location in this video. I'm here 5 years after. I discovered a new amazing way to do animations with Mandelbrot and uncover new great patterns. But I'm not very good at creating it. I want to know if you could help me somehow

Again: Just Epic. Thank You! It's fascinating to watch how every color on your palette has his own grand stage at several points of the performance. Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome on our show tonight: The Ocean of the Southern Turqois! The Big Yellow lemon heaven today fading into pure white! Let's welcome and give a warm applause to The Blue-black eternity! And last but not least: The Famous Red/orange inferno! One hopefully not too dumb question: Is there any pre-determination of the color palette you seek for or does it just come out by chance? Did you decide here to have a range from "red to lemon" and another one from "blue to turqois" for instance? I only ask IF it's determined, please don't try to explain HOW because I'm a total math dummy.

shit man , this is nice, i watched your other ones in one sitting on fullscreen, your vision does some pretty weird stuff afterwards hahaha. also i'm sorry but i put on stoner metal. even though the classical music was fine too but the visuals had me . good job and i'm subbing too, KEEP EM COMING

haha, thanks for the comments. Yes, they make my eyes a little crazy too. Music is a matter of personal taste, I'd encourage you to play up your own with the visuals. I use classical because it is quite 'generic' (and freely available).

The wonderful symmetrical formations which are always variating is truly the representation of infinity. The music is fully uneventful for this phenomena. I find the guitar playing relaxing but the series of pictorial wonders ask for symmetrical music of a various source. Listen to Messiaen along with the images of Mandelbrot's fractal geometry. This event is better than magic mushrooms. To two together should have for sheer beauty a danger sign.

Thanks for another great video. when i enter the location into Kalles Fractaler I get a blank screen. In the early 80s I read an article in Scientic America and wrote a BASIC program on a BBC micro, things have moved on since then... I have zoomed in to e4023 I have followed your tutorial and have selected store zoom-out images - it has taken 123 hours and it still appears to be calculating the first image - does this seem normal . At the bottom of the image I have: 6% R: 100% G:0% A:4% which has not change in quite some time. the next is Zoom 3.68e4023 T:123:19:xx:yy (this is still keeping time) and then I:556498446 S:0.360079 (not sure what this section is? anyway, if you have time to respond that would be great.

Did you adjust the iteration count after entering the location? How fast is your PC? E4000 would be very slow!! Render time grows exponentially as you get deeper. It seems you are 6% through the first frame.

I'm not sure if this is the finest rendering of Mandelbrot out there, but the choice of music certainly is. The other renderings appear to feature either boring classical, or moronic techno. A genuinely fine choice in a universe of dull and mediocre!

Switch off, that's my decision normally. But here the music fits perfectly. For me baroque music equals best. And of course J.S.Bach first: the Goldberg Variations, the Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin, the Cello sonatas and - kind of hardcore but great - the Art of the Fugue. For easy listening the Brandenburg Concertos same as Handel's Organ Concertos and Domenico Scarlatti's Keyboard Sonatas. And and and... lots of stuff out there.
