Nerfed is a light way to say completely deleted (for now).

I can’t speak for every viewer, but I’d be happy to see more than one video with the same deck / longer video(s) with more games of the same deck. Especially if you’re enjoying yourself playing it.

It really is a shame, Rarran did a video of original decks and one of the the ones submitted was the Pyrotech's designer who built a DK deck around it. He was really proud of his card and it is pretty cool, interactive but not broken. Now its going to get gutted because Blizzard refuses to fix their precious Thaddius that's been breaking standard since it was released and will continue to do so.

The Pyro ban makes me furious. "Oh, we noticed some of you started having fun with this card. We're deleting it for at least 3 weeks while we go on vacation. Happy holidays! Enjoy your present! You can thank us later." "P.S. Crusader's Aura is still in the game."

I have no idea why they even disabled Pyrotechnician in the first place when the win condition was already so unreliable.

Its baffling why Blizzard is so quick to disable a deck that wasn't even that great to begin with and would only win early if you got lucky with the god hand, which can be said for like pretty much every single hearthstone deck.

Your deck (winning with a Thad/Pyro combo from hand on turn 6) is toxic compared to my deck (putting 15/15 of stealthed windfury mech on the board on turn 4) In the design teams words, hearthstone is a game about battling for the board, so you see you should have simply played a deck that puts 20/20 of stats on the board by turn 4 if you wanted to play.

That second game was pretty wild

Pyrotechnician died so that Thaddius could continue being the most toxic card in standard. Delete Thad already, this is like the 3rd deck he enabled that had to be gutted, and he's probably gonna enable another toxic deck once the mini-set releases. Target the root, not the branches Blizzard.

The rework they did really baffled me. Honestly making him capable of discounting cards to 0 seems like way more of a problem to me than when he was discounting to 1.

Btw I’m not saying the solution is to revert the rework to his previous state. If it were up to me, hed have a new effect entirely because the mass mana cheat is the reoccurring problem

They should just finally prevent mana reductions from lowering the cost of cards to 0. It has happened so often that broken or toxic gets get enabled through that.

Guilty as charged here. I'm playing a mill DK combo enabled by Thaddius + selfish shellfish. It got less than 20% victory, but it would drop even lower if not for the crazy mana cheat Thadd gives.

The ban on Pyrotechnician makes me genuinely angry... This card has flown under the radar for what, almost a full year now? Maybe more? Suddenly they add actual Fire spells worth hitting to the pool, and nope. Banhammer. The list of cards people complained about for weeks on end before Blizzard did anything. THE THADDEUS ISSUE. And they decided to banhammer the one fun new thing somebody decided to try in the meta.

Ah, i remember days when mana, stats were so precious and had a lot of meaning. Nowadays - drop some broken card and destroy your opponent. Yay
