Supposed if an fir is lodged against one innocent person by another person with an ill motive intention or by personal enemity and after lodging of an fir and instantly police also took coznigence. In that suitation what will do to the instant innocent person. Pliz sir suggest.

Sir you said that this provision is not mandatory at all but it has been stated in Lalita kumari V. Government of UP that sub section (1) is mandatory & the officer concerned is duty bound to register the case .
