pool party fiora is pretty great. having this super serious fencer whacking people over the head with a pool noodle is just fantastic.

The four horsewomen of toplane (Fiora-Camille-Riven-Irelia) are all the same in terms of playing against them, they are the sweatiest games where you are constantly playing on the edge against them and a single mistake will fuck you over 9/10 times and they'll just run with the game then and there - the only abusable weakness is the players potential overconfidence and bad mental, at which point they just most often flounder immediately

@@FalcnPWNCH i can see the fiora, riven, irelia for them being sweaty but whatever a camille player is doing does not make me sweat, whenever I play camille a worm enters my brain that just repeats "limit test" every 10 seconds and I will go 13/0 or 4/17, and I see that same worm in other camilles

Funnily enough every single Yasuo main I’ve met have actually been very nice. Combing that with community’s distaste for seeing someone play as him and it makes it feel like the person is a lore accurate Yasuo (I.e. accused of being a monster, actually being innocent, but constantly racking up kills) However, I can only think of about two friendly Yone players I’ve met, and only one of them was outwardly friendly.

I've a theory that the "French" exist in Runeterra. There would be a people coming from the Argent Mountains ("argent" meaning "silver") and spread during the Rune Wars in Demacia, where they would keep their accent, and in Noxus, where they would found notably house Du Couteau ("from the knife" in english) and maybe count in their rank Leblanc ("TheWhite" in english). In the short story "The True and Ghastly Tale of the Beast of Boleham Tower", Veigar meets inhabitant of the Argent Mountains, two of them being called Margaux and Frenk. Margaux is a very typical french name and Frenk is very ressemblant to "Frank", the germanic people that France gets its name. Now this might be coincidental but I can just notice a patern here.

Headmistress Fiora was originally a Harrowing skin when it first came out and when Harrowing was more just about silly Halloween skins. Not that complicated.

My favorite thing about Fiora is that back when I was playing they ended up reworking her character design because fan perception of her was so far divorced from their intention - They wanted to play up her cold, calculating, tactical side, and certainly that's there (especially in her splash art), but reading the old descriptions of what they wanted you get the sense they almost wanted Camille's vibe when Fiora first released. The vibe players perceived was much Younger, more focused on the cockiness and acrobatic portions of the character. In essence, the players were taking their sense of who she was almost entirely from GAMEPLAY, both as her and against her, and that produced a character very different from the plan, and so they rewrote the plan.

The Jax and Fiora rivalry actually came before that fan-animation and is actually old enough that it was part of the old old lore (along with Gragas and Jax being drinking buddies). I think it was cause old fiora was meant as a counter to Jax and that got added into narrative. However for both Fiora iterations they've seemingly forgotten abt these completely until recently (thanks new Jax VO) and never expanded on it in narrative (at least old Fiora has the excuse of the League of Legends intervening, but modern Fiora is supposedly set to be part of Jax's rebuilt Kohari and this has never ever been touched upon again past the [now dubiously canon?, thanks riot] None Shall Pass short story and Jax's VO update).

Mentioning the fan-made cinematic, I feel like it represents both Jax & Fiora as to who they are as characters. Jax fights not just to win, but to also have fun while doing it, in the cinematic he uses the rear-end of his spear as much, if not more than he uses the blade, and his victories mostly come from knocking his opponents off the stage, then being a good sport at the end by complementing them with,, Nice try kid'' While Fiora on the other hand is not just looking for victory, but also blood, especially when she says, To the death'' when she uses her ult on him, and, Prepare to die'' after she hits his last vital by standing him in the back. And considering her interactions in LoR, she seems anything less than a good sport.

Fiora is supposed to be leagues Fencer, but she is just a Fencer sure she fits the Demacian aesthetics, but thats it. She is just a fencer. Nothing is said of about the way she is fencing just that she is good at it. Just like Jax the difference being that Jax is over 1000 years old and sure anyone can challenge, but noone will ever beat him while Fiora had not this much time for mastering every weapon and martial arts style. So if she atleast has to put a challenge towards a character like Jax, give her something unique about her style of fencing, because saying that she is simply good isn't enough to put up for a challenge. Examples needed? = let her fence with something different then a normal ass blade, give a body that is untypical for a fencer or she basically is playing out dirty tricks magical illusions (narutos doppelgänger jutsu idk).

Fiora suffers too much from success which is exactly why she’s just so boring , being so flawless just makes her so uninteresting . No conflicts , no relationships with other characters heck we don’t even know how she feels about the mage seekers or what she was doing when a giant dragon invaded her home land under the influence of viego , the worst part is that she has potential we already know she’s a revel and doesn’t bind by society standards explore that riot maybe have her have a story with sona about how she learns sona uses a magic and instead of giving her in she projects her or maybe have her do a job for jarvan hunting down a traitor but she learns that traitor is lux and spares her life after lux shows her there’s much more to life than just serving others . LITERALLY ANYTHING just make her not boring riot 💀

In all honesty, Fiora has a pretty stable foundation for expansion: she's like a mix of Atalanta and Clorinde in terms of story and personslity. The only thing is that she doesnt have many stories or character development (outside of that LoR cinematic). Frankly, I wouldn't mind if they made her a champion duelist (like Clorinde). Showing what combat sports would be like in Demacia.

You know, i this is how you eel about Fiora, I cant imagine how you feel with Shen, he was skip in your champoin rewind, but I guess a lot can happen in like, a year or so that make you enjoy the champ, a new story, new mechanic, a Jonia game, I could die and not see how you not enjoy playing shen. Me personally I wouldn't say I hate Fiora but I don't really love her either i'm kind of just ok about her,and I don't really why she's so hated. Granted this might be that i've never had a bad experience with a fiora, and also that I kinda like her play style.

I believe that she is hated because she has good tools to punish mistakes, and she can snowball quite hard. Those two facts combined mean that you can't afford to relax for a second against her. Basically you tryhard or you lose, and that's stressful and not particularly fun. I think that she's fair though. And she's reaaaally satisfying to play. The hate comes from opponents.
