Hi, my name is Steve. I’m not sure how all this works. I’m a 71-year-old retired man who lives in United States. I started listening to reaction videos a little over a year ago. I don’t get out much because of my age and the Covid mess that we’re in so I listen to about five or six hours of reaction videos a day. Watching the responses of people who understand music and love the power it has to reach into our souls has given me a connection to the world that I wouldn’t otherwise have. I’ve only subscribed to probably three channels. Yours is the first that I’ve ever commented on. I appreciate that you have subtitles so I can understand what you’re saying. I love The knowledge you have and the emotion that music evokes from you. i’m not even sure that you’ll actually have the time to read this but I felt the need to let you know that you are a beautiful young lady with an equally beautiful spirit, that draws us in and let us see your heart and your soul. It’s a human connection that makes us feel like we know you, even though we may be generations apart, thousands of miles away and living in completely different cultures. The anointing that is on you to do what you do has enriched my life and I thank you for that. I don’t know how to add a link but there’s a couple of songs I would like to recommend to you. One is a Morissette song called Messiah. there are two videos. There’s only a slight difference between the two of them. It’s one of the most beautiful, touching songs you’ll ever hear. The other is a Michael Jackson song from the 90s called “they don’t really care about us”. There are three different videos but the one recorded in Brazil I believe is the best one. It’s a song that I think every citizen in this world should hear considering the mess that our governments are in. I believe we as citizens of the world need to realize that our governments how about money and control. To me this song is the anthem that we all need to understand. Besides that it’s a really cool song. I’m looking forward to what you have to share with us in the future.

Hi Steve this is well written for sure. The part about Anna is spot on for me. That connection is real and it is so easy to make. Im fortunate to talk to many singers the world throughout and i have realized that a "connection" is what the artists want and enjoy the most. So maybe for Anna its the same. and Steve she will read and reply i guarantee you. i Am newer to Anna but already have a deep appreciation for her work. i could go on trust me. Im in Washington State and also have watched a million reaction videos. My music saved me through an emotionally bankrupt time in life. Glad to read your comment. Also....comment to music whenever you like. It is a show of support and is priceless to the artist..they love it.

You open your heart, you are honest and obviously music resonates to you, too. And what you say about Anna's very special, empathic and knowledge-based reactions is - IMO - spot on ! To me there are only a few similar persons (e.g. Elizabeth Zharoff's TCV, Julia Nilon ...) who have background, personal class and that wonderful kindness I feel from every of Anna's reactions. Thank you for a nice reaction! Morissette is my favorite singer by far. Her skill and talent are unmatched in my view; and Mori's tone of voice is so soothing, it never gets old. I could listen to her non-stop. I do try to listen to her every day because it puts me in a peaceful and happy place when I do. Her story-telling is supreme; and of course she is a master of every technique, but uses them so intelligently and strategically places them in just the right places. I know that Mori is eliminating the whistle notes these days to preserve her vocal chords. I am so glad to that she is thinking of her long-term vocal health - I want Mori to be around for a long, long time!!

I just wish Mori could have seen you while singing this song. She could have feed on your reaction, though she didn't need it. Some people listen with their ears and some listen with their heart. You listen with both. Always entertaining. Love you.

"Strong Ballads" yes, when Mori performs a ballad, it becomes a "Power Ballad". Her lows are low ang Highs are really high. Very wide range in a single song. Filipina singing contestants practice songs are from Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Ariana, etc. No wonder Hard songs sound simple when performed by a Filipina artist like Morissette. Now what made Mori great are her technical skills, phrasing, long breath control, no stress very high tones, beautiful face when belting. 🥰

That was one of the more intense and loud whistles I've ever heard.

her vocal timbre is so velvety, soft, she has a chest sound deep and powerful. unique and rare. Miss Amon is a singer, who plays through the diaphragm, always regenerates the air in her lungs. the sound is powerful, round, airy and not squeaky. unlike the hideous, shrill screams I hear from so many singers, who use their throats.

Power ballad, RnB, Pop, Broadway, Fast clear rapping, Reggae, Classic, Reggae, Metal, Novelties, Folk, Rock, Country, etc. For all ages and in different languages. She can simply nail hard songs from Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Celine, Whitney, etc. Many vocal coaches concluded that Mori is the combination of many divas in one small body. She loves singing Live without Auto tune and lip-synch. 🥰🏆

I am bummed i missed the premiere, work changed . Wow Wow And one more WOW!!! Anna you bring to light so many details. And also highlights from each singers style. This beautiful artist is nothing short of amazing. she sounds so beautiful and capable. I cant think of a comparison. Even three or four singers combined wont compare. The attention to every word is amazing and the emotion delivered is perfect. She had me from her first utterance and captivated me with her talent till the last word. A wonderful break down of near perfection. and yes a song for a movie. It would have to be a specific scene of sensational accomplishment and triumph. . I grew up before the miracle of connecting with people in such a powerful way that this medium allows. Here we are enjoying a beautiful original song sung by a Filipina singer in Tagalog with English subtitles and your English/Finnish reaction/analysis with your viewers all over the world watching and connecting to everything she and you are doing with total understanding and relating to it all. This is amazing and such a blessing! As we all know technology is such a two-edged sword, but, in this case I am thrilled by the results. I see that you really appreciated Morrissette's ability to tell a moving story through song and lyric. I, too, find this performance very moving. One of my favorite elements of Morrissette is her ability to tell a story with her music. Clearly she is a highly gifted singer. But she puts all of herself into her performances which makes her a much more compelling artist than most. @@annavaskelainen Two more Morissette songs you might want to check out are her cover of the Foreigner song I Wanna Know what Love Is, which has a 15 second whistle note phrase, and the Tagalog song Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw (live band performance) which has an interesting staccato rhythm, and some great belting. Also don't know if you're familiar with the American guitar wizard Eric Steckel, who sang and played all the instruments except drums on Make It Rain, which is as close to perfect as blues rock gets.

FTR, I am a retired, professional music critic, with 45+years experience. Nothing has changed my thoughts, on what my uncle told me - the Philippines did and still does have more talent than any other country. Here is an elite, Apex level, international caliber, singer right here. Morissette Amon is one of the top 5 to 8 Pop singers of all time. I saw Whitney, Celine, Mariah, live, in their Apex level singing eras - Morissette is their equal.

I love how i can see the aura of true, genuine joy in your face when witnessing this magic, because that is really what music performed to it's fullest potential is, Magic! I think the greatest aspect of becoming a Legendary singer, is the ability to convey a songs story in a believable matter to the listener. Of course the technical aspect is important as well, but that alone is not enough to be one of the greatest. Everyone can learn to sing but not everyone are able to convey a message of a song so the listener believes and fees it. She's arguably one of the greatest singers currently alive. Not only based of this performance, but in all her live performances she consistently deliver extreme quality of her performances. And that is a hallmark of a great singer. Her Wish 107.5 performance of Rise Up she was even singing while being sick with a cold. And even that is a flawless performance. And her whistle register is amongst the best, if not The best quality there is. Most people have trouble even doing it, and she does runs in it, that is just a testament to her insane prowess and control of her voice.

I believe that the whistles you referred to were flageolets. The last belt was 14 seconds long without a breath. This was a master class in singing. Live on a bus, sitting down with a headset on..........check out her cover of Stone-cold and naririnig mo ba. You will enjoy them.
