Adorable baby and seeing Serafina being a mommy to the baby Phoenix. That says something when she kept trying to give the egg to the baby and eventually was sharing it with him. She looked to be acting protective as well, I imagine she'll enjoy having the pups around for as long as they are there.

From day 1 Serafina has been unique in her sweet & gentle manner. It's no surprise she looks after the babies. She's following in great foot steps: Mala, Vixie, Dixie, Esmé, Emmy 💞

You must be thinking of a different Serafina. The Serafina of SaveAFox has been a total spitfire up until more recently. (probably also the unidentified fox that bit Finn a while back).

It hurts my heart a little to see our boy Finny getting older, but I know that’s just the natural order of things. I wish it wasn’t that way so badly. I wish our furry little friends could live as long as we do. I’m just grateful for the time we are given with them and I’ve learned to cherish every moment. ❤

Aw, Serphina gave the baby the egg, for the moment. And she's really into the cleaning mode with all the babies. Serphina grew up. So wonderful.

Aww Finn, always the big baby. But I understand why he's kinda so over pups now, he's been fostering too many fox kits, he and Dixie. Finn is a great foster father, just that he wants others to handle them now, lol. I just liked how Mutt and Finn seemed to grow fond of each other unlike years before.

Finny may be sick of being a foster dad, but at least he is not screaming at them like Esmae! "Get off my lawn!" 😂Esmae was hysterically with baby Sly. May he rest in peace. 💕

It was wonderful to see the fox pup run about and explore as soon as he his paws touched the ground! 👏

7:22 Serafina is super sweet for being such a good momma😍 You definitely know your critters! She really did want the baby to have that egg and even staying nearby to make sure no one else got it. 😅

@@lisawolff4307 stressed mothers in fur farms have a tendency to over groom their pups, and it often leads to them chewing off their tails. There are a few rescues at SaveAFox that just have the white tips chewed off, but this batch all seem to have the whole tail chewed off.

Serafina and the pup shared an egg was really cute. Serafina really loves being a mom both she and Floofala have run after every pup so far that I have seen in the yard. I still remember how much it changed Emmie when she became a mom.

Yes, I remember when Floofila was doing the same thing about about Phoenix's age and Mikayla had trouble finding her in that underground maze. 🤣

Phoenix is confident, curious and happy boy. So sweet how Serafina brought her egg for Phoenix.

All the babies seem to love Floofala, but Serafina seems to love the babies. So awesome to see the parental instinct in the younger foxes. Finny is like the old man now and just wants nothing to do with the kits. We still love him anyway tho! ❤

Everyone loves Finnegan fox 🦊 he IS a Grampa now. So babies require a lot of wiggling and sniffing and chasing, so ....poor boy doesn't wanna exert anymore energy than necessary.. except to come for "treats!" Let the youngins look after the babies. Good luck baby foxes!

Serafina is now the #1 adopter of all babies. She’s been so sweet & gentle with all the kits. Bringing her egg and finally sharing it with Phoenix was the sweetest thing 😍 Poor Finn, babies are just too much work for him now😢 Phoenix sure took to that den quickly! Finn may not want to be as active with the young ones nowadays, but I remember when he was bringing toys to Floofala. Now he is watching Floof with the new pup, and he knows he mentored well. 🦊

Finnegan has retired from pupcare and nominated serafina to handle that.

It is so darn adorable how Serafina takes on such a protective and nurturing role with the babies. xx

Serafina is a good mommy. Finn is your typical male fox. Done with the kits. It is so adorable seeing Serafina go full "You are my baby now!"

Phoenix is a super fluffy mini Floofie. He is adorabubble! ❤ I am guessing he may have had his tail bitten off in fur farm. Poor thing. Phoenix is going to love it at SaveAFox. Your rescue centre is so enriched for the foxes, it's amazing. Look how quickly he is settling in. Serafina so maternal. Awww! Finney will always be cutest! Thank you for really beautiful post.

Even more tricky that was a raw egg. The foxes seem to prefer raw eggs, and mostly focus on reading the yoke. Serafina probably cracked it open for Phoenix and showed him how to lap up the yoke.

Finnegan is old now and its making me cry 😭I remember watching him only a year ago looking so spry and energetic.

That's sweet that Serafina seems willing to share the egg, even though the pup is clueless about what that is. I'm really surprised that there never seems to be any overt aggression between the various fox species. At most they just run away from each other. Is that normal for foxes in general? Non-aggressive?

These are all the same fox species, all red foxes

Most of the foxes are red foxes at SAF but with different colors. The only ones that are not red foxes are Nikita, Dimika (grey foxes), Ianto (Arctic fox) and Fawzi (Rüppell's sand fox). My guess why it is no fights because they know who the leaders are in the different yards and proberly because its a happy enviorment without any stress for the foxes.

That's why they're different yards: they gather the foxes who get along well and separate those who don't.

@@chelsea4life994 Interesting. I didn't realize a red fox could be anything but red. But I don't know a great deal about foxes in general. Thank you for the information! I'm also surprised they don't eat the cats. The coyotes we have in our area are notorious cat eaters.
