Glad you seemed to have fun in Finland! Here are some notes from a Finn: 12:05 You don't actually have to buy bottled water in Finland, it's really expensive because there's no demand for it. Tap water is really high quality and you can drink it without worries. 12:15 We love pastries and bread in Finland! Like in many parts of the video you noticed. 😄 I think our pastries are usually very good. 18:12 The meat inside those meat pies is usually both beef and pork! 20:38 There are bath tubs very rarely in Finnish hotels, we prefer to sauna 27:21 That's a restaurant that seems to serve kotiruoka, which is just basic home food, so you got a small taste of what normal people eat day to day. Especially the meatloaf seemed like every day food. 31:44 Lapin kulta is a beer I think most Finnish people don't like. It's called reindeer piss. 😅 32:38 Looked like saaristolaisleipä, and you're right, it's ryebread that has molasses and dark sugar in it. It was traditionally eaten in the archipelago islands. 36:48 Ryebread! We love our ryebread so there's maybe less white bread than most places. 37:23 We love our coffee here. Finns drink most coffee per capita in the world so, I think, we have gotten pretty good at making it too. 1:00:52 I don't think brie is that much more popular than everywhere else, it's just popular everywhere! But I think Finns like it's mild taste. 1:04:34 Lots of Japanese tourists in Helsinki. The combination of Helsinki being the quickest European city to reach from Japan, moomins, arabia, iittala, marimekko and other design things make Finland an attractive destination I believe. Also culturally I think we are quite similar. 1:05:39 Fazer chocolate is excellent, good choice! 1:05:51 That's oltermanni cheese, it's a very mild and young semi-hard cheese, similar to havarti. In Finnish it's called kermajuusto. It's usually eaten in sandwiches and not cooked. There's an interesting Finnish cheese called leipäjuusto that you didn't seem to try on your trip. Maybe next time. It goes well with cloudberry jam. 1:12:35 It looks like you're actually eating fried vendace and Matthieu was eating herring "steak" (silakkapihvi in Finnish). It's unlikely that they would sell cod there.

Wow - I think I might fit in well in Finland - salmon, chocolate, dark bread, berries, and coffee!!! (And I hate baths and bathtubs!) Not so sure, though about the longer winter nights, which may be different than, perhaps New Engalnd/ U.S. winter nights! Never heard of the Moomin Characters - are they more popular than in the U.S.? Thanks for the info!!

暁美さん、こんにちは！今回もご覧いただきありがとうございました。 フィンランド、特にヘルシンキはではパリよりも日本人の観光客がいるのではないかな！？と思うほど日本人を見かけました。 マリメッコの食堂内では、母娘旅行の方や、家族、友人などなど本当にたくさんの日本人で、マリメッコ人気、フィンランド人気を感じました！ 欲しいものもたくさんありましたが、よくよく考えてときめくものだけ買い物をしました。 教会も、私がいつも行くフランスのものとは違い、とても勉強になりました。フィンランドの歴史ももっと知りたいと思うきっかけにもなりました。 とても長い動画にも関わらずご覧いただきありがとうございました。 旅の動画は、自分たちの旅のアルバムみたいなもので、編集は少し大変でしたが、個人的にも何度も見返していて作ってよかったなと思いました。 南仏は急に寒くなりましたが、新しく引っ越した家は、以前の家より温かくて良かったです。 暁美さんも、お身体お気をつけてお過ごしくださいね😊 いつもコメントありがとうございます♪

Bonjour Corinne, la Finlande était très intéressante et très différente du sud de la France, où je vis. J'ai trouvé que c'était un peu comme mon pays, le Japon😊 Passez un bon week-end !

Hello, Maria. Thanks for watching this video😊 In Finland, I was impressed by the fact that everything had berries in it.　I also really enjoyed shopping at the supermarket! In Japan, the Moomins are very famous and I watched the TV animation when I was a child. Maybe that is why there were so many Japanese touristes in Finland🇫🇮

ボンジュール、 sayakaさん、マチューさん😊 フィンランド🇫🇮の旅、懐かしいく、拝見しました。 2人と同じ所、行きましたよ！ ムーミンショップでマチューさん用に買ったスナフキンのネームプレート、私も現地で買って使ってます😄 イッタラ、マリメッコも夫と、いちいち、オシャレと言ってました。 かもめ食堂の撮影に使った、お店も行きました😉サーモンスープ🥣はすっかりハマり、冬はよく作るようになりました。フィンランド🇫🇮はじめ、北欧で方は身長が高いので、私も日本人としては高いので、マリメッコは天国！そして、身長コンプレックスも感じないし、ビール🍺好きの夫は私以上、フィンランドにハマってしまいました、コロナが無ければ、sayakaさん達の反対のルートで、フィンランドからフランスに行く予定でした😭 丁度、動画アップの前日に、大好きな、アアルトの映画を観てきた所です。楽しく拝見しました！メルスィ😌

エミッペさん、こんにちは😊 長い長いフィンランドの動画、ご覧いただきましてありがとうございました。 ヘルシンキ市内だと、私が訪れたところはどこも日本人がたくさんいたので、多分定番の場所なのかなと思いました。 パリに行くよりも日本人かいるかもしれないとも思いました。 ムーミンも北欧雑貨も以前から大好きなので、フィンランドから戻ってもイッタラやマリメッコのネット通販で買い物したりしました。 購入したものの紹介も、できれば動画内でしたいなと思っているので、その際はまたご覧いただけますと嬉しいです！ 私も映画見たいです💕

@@sayalog フィンランド🇫🇮で購入した物、楽しみにしてまーす😊 私も今迄に購入した、マリメッコ、イッタラ、アルテックは実用、インテリアと両面に使えますね😉 寒くなると、イッタラの鉄鍋(かもめ食堂でサチエさんが肉じゃが作っていたやつ)でサーモンスープ🥣作ってます。

はじめまして　2024 6月初めからツアーで北欧に行きます　ワクワクしながら視聴させて頂きました 何月のフィンランドですか？ 建物の壁に延びた紅葉した葉っぱが綺麗で感動しました。（38:25あたり） まだ、行ってないけど又紅葉の季節に行ってみたいって思いました😉 他の番組を見させて頂きます
