According to my Spanish teacher, this is true - we pronounce Rs the same way. I've noticed many Spanish speaking people saying Käärijä's name pretty much perfectly.

@@Leena79 I guessed this much, I'm Spanish. In fact, I've given a try to lots of languages in Duolingo, and from what I gathered, Finnish was a curious experience, because basically all other European languages (French, German, English, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Czech, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Portuguese, even Italian) the vocabulary and grammar is somewhat similar (I mean, much more similar than Finnish is to anything except Estonian), but I/we tend to struggle with pronunciation and phonetics the most. But with Finnish, it's literally the other way round, the only thing that comes off as easy is pronunciation, the rest of the language is... "wtf is dis even human? 0_0" What I wasn't really expecting is the Finnish English accent sounding so similar to a Spanish English accent.
