I don’t have a method, I just know that it will shrink some, possibly as much as 10%. I just make sure there is enough metal for me to make changes after casting. I tend to let my waxes be heavier than I want the final ring to be, then do most of my fine tuning in metal. I tend to work better in metal than wax.
