Good, I will box mine in w/o the 45 s. Finishing for me would be easier than dealing with the 45s

Great video. You are a pro. I am starting my basement from scratch. Can you please guide me to your basic first video. Do you do house visits? Living in Toronto. Also do you recommend apply some sort of paint on basement floor to fill cracks and pores.

Hello and sorry for very late reply. The links to all the videos in this series are in the video description above and you can easily find all parts in my Channel page. I do not consult at this time, apologies. I so not recommend any sealants / paints / coatings as those can create greater long term issues. I describe that along with some references to materials which describe that in more detail in the comments to section in the first few video of this series.

How would you handle clean outs in the floor that are tied into the drain tile

That's a tougher one. You can add some access panels/ports which you may even need ton design yourself depending on your specific conditions. The key is to seal around the floor clean out so that you do not have a break in the vapor barrier, then that clean out access will simply have to be exposed slightly to your slab floor, but this is a small area. Then just find or create a removeable access cover which will work for you.

Thanks for the compliment. For me to frame yours; too much ! :) It really is a fun DIY project particularly when you really don't need top worry about load bearing considerations in the design for those who might be a bit squeamish otherwise.

Looks horrible. You should of just boxed all that soffit instead of all those goofy angles.

Thanks but totally disagree. I much prefer to have as much available space and don't mid the complex angles and framing. But to each his own so trust you will just build all squares so do what works for you on your project.
