Finishing 1/2 Inch Out of the Money! | Florida Kayak Bass Trail 2024 Stop #2 Lake Tohopekaliga

Today was probably the best example I have put together so far on what it takes to be competitive in a Kayak Bass Fishing Tournament in the state of Florida! It was an absolute grind to get out to where the fish were and I only put down my paddle to use my pedals or motor probably less than an hour or so the entire day. My Hobie Outback was absolutely covered in green slime and weeds by the end of the day, but it was all well worth it because I managed to get a 4th place finish out of 46 anglers and some sweet, sweet Angler of the Year points! Looking forward to the next stop for ‪@floridakayakbasstrail7358‬ out at Lake Kissimmee!

Just found your channel. Great content and congratulations on your finish. I have a hobie pa 14. I see you have the Lowrance elite 9. Was that an easy install without any modifications?

Thank you! Yes, it was a very simple install with the Hobie thru-hull ports. I did have to modify the transducer plate a bit by cutting off the vertical support mounts on the reverse side of the plate with my oscillating multi-tool. Once that was done, the plate was flat on the reverse side and all I had to do was line up the mounting screws to the attachment points on the transducer and tighten everything done and do a little cable management.
