Great conclusion to the build! Driver visor in chrome (with a Molotov pen) would be in line with the rest of the build.

I just sprayed that exact same tamiya silver a 18year old fresh out of the box tamiya eunos roadster and I screwed it up bad😢 Lots of blotching and the metal flake was pooling up everywhere. Lots of shaking and extremely light coats and warmer weather it would have been a better outcome for me. The goldtub was my 1st real RC and one I will eventually own again. Thanks for sharing!

Great job on the body. You make it look so easy to do. Body cutting and painting is my weakness. I've built three Tamiya cars now but all with no bodies. Not brave enough yet.😊

Great Job Gav. I at first thought," I have to have one!" I've chilled to it now. It looks like a horror to build for clumsy me. It does look amazing.

Gavin, enjoyed all 3 video builds. Even after watching, I broke the same screw building mine.

Would be tempted to try very light window tint to keep with the transparent theme.

I’m nuts I bought 2 of them keeping them NIB 😀 if I was to build really want to build it to box art or that Ae KZread advert for it.

Too bad the translucent sliver did not work out. Still looks stunning!

At first I was like Silver! What the heck! But then I seen the contrast with the decals and absolutely love it! That thing is sweeeeet!

Wow! That Rc10 turned out really nice.

Love the way you got those dead-straight score lines on the wing. I use the score-and-snap method almost exclusively. I’ve also started implementing the body hole reamer in more places when trimming. As you said, provides much cleaner lines.

Really nice car there. As a lifetime lover of the epic original RC10, I love that it's being produced again. If only we could get some runners from AE and not static models I could stop running my '88 car as its just too fun to not drive even though it's valuable and hard to replace. I appreciate your relaxing vibe and new music choices. Keeping hobbies relaxing is a good idea. Escape the crazy world with our little cars. Cheers and happy new year.

Despite the paint "problem", and the previous bulkhead problem, it turned out beautifully. I REALLY like the translucent candy orange look, and I'm thinking of doing the same with mine (when it arrives...my order is part of the second batch)...but, work a slight difference. It's not that I don't like 'orange', and I know the original box art design is orange...but, I just prefer blue. Before I spray the actual body, I'll first do a test using scrap Lexan, and see how it looks.

Hi Gav, brilliant video as usual, i have sent you an email regarding the closure of the Uks oldest rc track.

The trans-clear orange is quite nice, but I like the frosted box art most. Maybe I put some electronics in, but mine is a Shelf-Queen. It's nice to have the options on the "cc-look" or painted.

That looks really nice, the body goes great with the chassis. I just bought an Avante Black Special and can’t decide what colour to do it. The manual says black or smoke. I’m not a fan of gloss black and also don’t fancy trying to get an even coat of PS-31 smoke over everything.

The car looks amazing Gav ❤. I’m really interested in translucent paint but I haven’t tried them before or even thought about them before this car. Also LED color might be very cool in the dark. So much potential!

You don’t scribe and pop the body out? I thought you started doing that. I’ve been doing it that way for over 3 decades, super simple way to do it.

Great Video! Did you apply the flat clear coat of paint on the outside after removing the fil before applying the decals?

Damn it, I’ve got this colour for mine. Did some tests on old lexan. But I’m waiting for some new decals to finish mine off, but actually seeing how yours has turned out I’m going a bit different

Are the parts clear so you can dye them any color? 🤔 The Og RC10 is one of my favorite RC cars! Very cool build!

@@RCKickschannel Funny when I had my RC10 in the 80's Swatch made a watch that was clear with a chrome face, it was my favorite watch. This would have been a great match to it! Lol! Awesome build!

I want to like this car, but it is a static model. Doesn't make sense to me.

This RC ONLY is for collectors not for racing ir drive the car os beacuse the big problem it the Spare parts😢
