​@@toad6884can be slightly cheaper and is removable. If you do it yourself you can wrap and unwrap it multiple times for the cost of a paint job.

Depends on the car and what type of vinyl you want. It's not cheap, but if I got a new car and couldn't get the color I wanted, I'd save up for it because I've heard it helps defend against road salt damage.
