Finish in minutes!!! Old world finish techniques do not get any easier than this! Our unique milk paint can help you create this in minutes. No other products are needed to get the extra texture or crackle look. Only our milk paint and a hairdryer !! HOW ? -- We applied 3 various blue colours of milk paint that was mixed a bit thicker than usual. ( thicker for more texture and larger cracks ) Hold hairdryer about 1’ away and force dry to make these cracks. Next we applied the Gustavian White ( regular mix ). Using the hairdryer again, it created a bit of texture and very tiny crackles. Tip: (if you hold the hairdryer very close you will also create chippy to occur.) . . To embellish, seal and give an antique/distress finish effect: First we used a very small amount of the @fusionmineralpaint GOLD metallic paint and dry brushed on the high areas. It dries in minutes so we immediately proceeded to apply some of the Clear Furniture Wax over most of the area. (using @staalmeester_brushes pointed sash since there were a lot of crevices ) Then we used AGEING WAX topped off with the smallest amount of ROSE GOLD metallic wax for ever so slight shimmer. Final step is taking a 320 grit sandpaper to give it an overall distress in certain areas to be able to see the initial colour and buffed it with a clean lint free rag. The finish is smooth, ultra durable and completed in just over an hour which included dry times for both layers of paint. (Tip: if you want to use this technique on an unknown surface then simply apply the Fusion Mineral Paint as a primer coat.
