I watch your videos to learn Chris. I'm a NOOB with a 1994 pedal steer JD 650G. I bought it to tune up a steep 1/4 mile road down to the lake. Erosion is a real problem. I'll admit to being a sucky operator at this point and envy your skills. I'm learning every day but still have a long way to go. Could you help me out with a bit of advice? One point in my road is a steep right turn. It was supposed to have been made to shed water off the outer edge of the turn. Now the water is following the inside of the curve and picking up speed downhill on the next portion of road. I want to shape it to shed water off the outer side of the curve. Chris would you start cutting the outer edge and pushing it up to the inner curve, or would you start at the inner curve and gradually cut your way to lower the outer edge? I'm thinking I should start at the inner curve, cut lightly, and progressively cut more outward to the outer side of the curve. What would you do?

Rent a mini excavator and pull the trees out stumps and all & stock pile to burn if you're allowed.... just make sure you remove as many roots as possible...., And level off everything when you're done.... I would wait a couple of months and see what type of natural grasses germinate and rough mow it for the first time, then you'll see what else you need to do in order to get some seed established.
