"The health of your hair matters way more than how long it is" THANK YOU!! Some women walk around with inches and inches of dead ends that make their hair look disgusting all because they want 'length'. Length doesn't do anything for you if your hair is ratty.

Hello.. I'm from India..n my hair texture is similar to what u are handling here.. my childhood was tough..n people bullied me over it(my hair)..coz nobody thought me how to manage it.. they'd puff up n kids tease me fr a bear. I appreciate what u did with the kids.. u helped her ease the trauma when her hair was chopped off by her schoolmate.. Pls don't bother abt negative comments..u are doin a great work.. creating awareness on what's right n wrong in taking care of ourselves.. HEALTH OVER LOOKS(Length)... ALWAYS!! I was hoping you'd show me how to wrap hair in the satin.. I really don't have anybody to teach me all that.. n would appreciate if you did.. Thankyou 🙏 ☺️

I watch a lot of hair tutorials and see at least one comment calling the stylist scissor happy. There's a lot of disgruntled folks in these comments. You said it best, health over length. All long hair is not healthy, especially with see through ends. Also the assumption is made that a trim was all that was needed, not a cut....as if someone with long hair can't get a haircut if they want to. Smh, you're the professional and i'm paying for your knowledge and skills so why argue. Thanks for sharing and keep up the awesome work!

Yesterday was my birthday 🥳 and I got a press and loose curls done for it 💁🏾‍♀️. I haven’t had my ends trimmed since March so I knew it was time lol. I’m totally one of those people who is afraid of trims like looking at how much hair is falling to the floor jussst to checkkk afraid 😂 (had a stylist who was ACTUALLY scissor happy cut so much of my hair off in a trim and it hasn’t been the same since 😩) I asked my stylist if I needed a trim while she blow dried and she was like YES YOU DOOOOO I was gonna ask you 😂 But I wasn’t even scared this time because I’ve been watching your videos all quarantine long so I can testify of the power of a good trim! Getting rid of raggedy ends is so satisfying, and like you said it’s about the health of the hair 💛💛 Thank you for making me less apprehensive of trims! My days of asking for baby dusting trims instead of a real one or paranoidly watching the floor are over 😊💇🏾‍♀️

The fact that the flat iron has these protected idk silicon or plastic thing at the ends to protect the hands when it's heated this is great As someone who had many types wether cheap or expensive type one most of them don't think of adding them and would provide gloves or not providing them in the 1st place and I honestly don't like wearing gloves when using a flat iron so it's good to see something like this

Shes definitely no where near scissor happy... I had clients who cringed at the thought of trimming their split ends and once we were done styling they wondered why they didn't achieve the look they were going for... Trimming off the ends not only prolongs the health of the hair but it adds to the integrity of the style... Which by the way she totally nailed that look... As a fellow stylist her passion for hair is inspiring... #DeeperThanHair

I've been watching your videos forever and you are by far THE BEST. And being called "scissor happy" is an insult to your craft! You are a stylist FIRST, and you stand for HEALTH over LENGETH. Anyone who chooses to hold on to dead, damaged ends all to "save a few inches", are the same ones who would go through their man's phone, just to cry and stay😂😂 KEEP DOING YOU QUEEN 👑

I live in NYC n need u in my life. I was raised by my Puerto Rican side but I'm also Dominican but raised by my Puerto Rican side, where everybody has thin silky, longer hair. I have kinky curly hair. I did the big chop. N dyed the crown of my hair bown 2 give me a new style. I'm tired of the weaves n relaxers n try my best 2 b natural. N take care more of my hair. I got a gastric bypass that I almost died twice already. Got off a feeding tube in November. Due to 2 seizures back 2 back so my feeding tube was pushed out by my body tensing up. My hair is thinning out. But thank GOD I'm doing better. It's hard for me to eat. I went from weighing 338 lbs but in December 23rd made a year I got my bypass surgery done. I currently weigh 180lbs. There's no joke with this surgery. But I appreciate u soo much because mentally I feel n look totally different. My confidence is @ an all time low. I'm 33 and have a daughter who will be 15 yrs old on March 29th is seeing me cry n I'm tired of her seeming me cry everynight. Money is reUr videos gives me hope that the old me is in there somewhere. U dont kno me but u have helped me a lot in life. If u wanna hit me up I have fb Brooklyn Rodriguez n if u like u can dm there. Exchange #s. Keep doing ur thing. I love an appreciate all the knowledge u have given here. I hope but nothing but good health and success always for u and everyone around the world. Thank u again ppl like u are hard 2 come by, n ur a wonderful person inside n out. I can't stop telling u thank u for everything u have done 4 me. U saved me when I didn't want 2 live anymore. N may u continue 2 prosper in life, cuz u helped helped me in soo much, not only in hair but as a woman! I hope I get a reply back. But if I don't I still love u, n stay blessed! Muuaaahhhhhzzzzzz!

Whenever I watch your videos, I feel hope. I never had a good hair day in my life. And I won’t give my age, but if i did, you would know how sad 😢 this is. I have 4c wiry fragile angry hair. No one likes it. I color it with semi color for some gray and texlax it. I think I may have a bit of length, when I see how you work with hair. But I think that I texlax incorrectly or not long enough, because I still have a lot of shrinkage. So I keep my hair clean underneath wigs. But one day I hope you will do my hair for your videos. I want to have my hair look good like that.

Michelle Clark your hair is probably resistant hon, might need a stronger formula but don’t over process, check it constantly even if you have to rinse half your head to get the desired pattern, sometimes we just gotta learn to do our own hair like me, I have passion twists in now which I did using the rubber band method, hoping to retain some length. It would be good to have someone assist you but if you don’t have anyone around just be assertive when it comes to any chemical in your hair

I WOULD LOOOVVE FOR YOU TO “GO SCISSOR HEAVY” ON MY HAIR!! I hate going to the salon and they say “I can’t do anything to help this, your ends are too ran up.” ✂️ I have literally asked them to cut off more and to HELP ME!!! 😔 I just started my curly hair journey and am following CGM to help save my hair!

  • @zahramohamed6430

Hey before you start completely with the curly girl method i would say buy a sulphate shampoo, silk pillowcase and try to use oils before shampooing (if you have a dry scalp). If you are going to follow the cgm completely for the first month it will be fine but you may experience a ton loads of flakes after, something i wish could have known.I would say invest in deep conditioners and use a sulphate shampoo for time to time to clean your scalp. Its definitely going to emotionally difficult and it takes a lot of time and love but you won’t regret it!Watch you-tubers with similar textures to you because not everything will work for everyone,i suggest cutting off all the straights ends /damage.Good luck!

I used to hold on to my ends even though I knew they were damaged due to coloring, BUT when I finally cut those ends above the blonde point, it felt and looked amazing and fuller!
