As a diabetic who does this abt 3-5 times a day it is surprising to me how much anxiety this causes people

@@Selene666 you’re genuinely such an understanding and lovely person thanks, it’s a nice change from the horrible people you find here. The weird thing is I’m not scared of needles, only finger prick tests. I have problems with PSTD and every time I see one I breakdown, it’s getting better now, hopefully it will stop soon.

I've never been afraid of needles but when I got older I started to get afraid of blood testing on my finger bc I know it is a sensitive area. I can't bring myself to do it, I had to ask someone else

I have a doctors appointment tommorow, and I feel a bit nervous about this. Thanks! Edit: I did it and it was nothing just a tiny boop or whatever not even a bite literally nothing

I have to do this test but I keep watching videos like this

i got this yesterday. I was so scared, was rolling on the floor and screaming but it didn't hurt a bit when they put it in💀

I got something like this similar for my blood sugar or something like they put something on my finger and it numbed my finger

Why the wipes with alcohol it makes it hurt

I hated when they took some samples of my blood when I was younger

Never had one of these done I have got a canulass in but they can't get any bloods from it so there doing this tommorow since they have blown most of the good veins I have while trying to get the canula in 10 injection in 2 days

Bruh I am having a strong drink before this. I’ve had 7 needles in a gaping wound before but adrenaline was in play. I genuinely can’t bring myself to do this 💀💀

lmfao i had to drink before doing this. i have tattoos, do my own weekly injection on my thigh, could not bring myself to do this tho. haha

I tried to do it with all 3 pokers and still didnt get enpugh blood :( cant do it

I used this exact lancet today for an STI test and HOLY FUCk. cried for like an hour beforehand and when i finally willed myself to prick my finger i was gushing blood like no one else. covered my bathroom sink

Meanwhile, I also did this test, and I couldn't even fill the tube to 600 because I wouldn't bleed enough. They're probably gonna reject my sample, but I used all 3 and just wouldn't bleed more. My friend pinned me down the whole time because I kept crying and flinching because needles suck
