Surprise, surprise i am way too active. Still in bed sick, so i decided it's a great time for my LHDP rewatch. I binged s01 in two days, and somewhere in the middle started this video. To celebrate that we are getting a new season this year, i am starting this project, where i'll try and make a video of these two for each season. It's way too soon to say if i'll fail or not, but wish me luck. Loooong journey awaits.
S01
These two, one of my first ever otps, and to this day my favorite Spanish duo, they are still everything to me. A little fun fact, when i first watched this show i HATED these two together and Sara in particular in s01. Safe to say, they won me over. Watching it now, seeing their chemistry was there from the day one, the complexity of their connection, and background of their characters, it's all incredibly written. How Lucas needed her, and how she was the only one to really see through the surface. I tried to show how other characters have in a way written him off, as somebody not worthy of love, and how Sara is the only one not asking of him to change. I believe this marks the beginning to their story, and little by little, i tried to show how Lucas's view of Sara changes, and by the end of the season she is not just a little girl anymore. However, the jugmental looks of others add up to how inapproprate and seemingly wrong this whole thing is. So Lucas is torn between his feelings and what seems to be the right thing to do. Btw, it's only s01 but i wanted to cry in the scenes of Paco&Lucas arguring, I AM NOT READY to have my heart broken again. Anyways, i ended this on Mariano's voiceover, that either Lucas lets go of Sara or he really will lose everything, clearly setting the tone for the next season. With that, i'll finish this rant about a couple that was off screen 10 years now lol Thanks for those still reading!!
I truly hope this video is not too heavy because of the amount of voicevoers, and that text is not too distracting. Would love to hear what you think of it! And obviously i am more than happy to go on and on about these two....

I must admit I ship them, and back on time I didn't see it wrong, also the way they developed their story was quite organic.... but well I dont approve minor/adult relationships, ofc it happens in real life and can be true love, but some times is abuse so that message on tv these days is not positive, but 10 days ago this story was beautiful and pure and TRUE LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. You are so talented!! I love every single second! yay

I think they handled this relationship mostly okay, and didn't make it super toxic haha It was rather a true love as you said :D And i remember being so in love with this ship ever since the first time i watched it yeeaaaaars ago, and i still love them so much. So i guess the writters and actors did phenomenal job. I really can't wait to see these two and entire cast reunited again :DD Thank you for your comments, i love talking about this show even if it's million years old.

Aww that is too sweet. Thank you sooo sooo much hun. I appreciate it a lot, especially coming from such a talented vidder. There is more seasons ahead, so i will def continue vidding these two more. They are my favorite spanish couple of all time!!! And as i am rewatching the show again now, i am super inspired to vid them.

I just am amazed how amazing this video was and you are only in season 1... I must prepare myself for the pain you wilk bring to me! And the qualityyyyyyy, omg I'm so in love with how good it is.
