Crazycat96 35 1. Don’t overheat but still get control of the site. 2. If it's an eco round for the enemy team don’t play close angles. 3. If you're playing Reyna and you have a good gun pop ult. 4. If it is 5v5 you can’t plant spike and all run back to main there are just too many people. 5. Even if you have the best aim in the world you still need to warm up.

Personally, as a non-male player, playing with friends calms me down. I worry a lot about how I sound when I comm, and I worry that it will somehow invite toxicity. It also really helps to have someone I can reliably play off of.

1:13 I can confirm its not the same for me atleast, to a degree. I notice when i queue with friends I do a lot better. Then I was curious if it was just because I got less nervous because I dont care if I dont do good cause its my friends or if its because talking in general to anyone makes me less nervous. Few solo queue games I found that the talking in general made me less nervous. Games were we just talk about nothing involving the game I do so much better.

I feel like its a positive feedback loop. If you're doing well with your team you all talk more, which makes you less stressed and therefore you play better... loop continues

Im really proud of you jollz. Ive been watching since i started playing over a year ago now when you were at 15k subs. I love the content please keep up the hard work and you will have a great career in content creation.
Superb5225 I really liked the ideas you mentioned at the end, where you have to be aware of the space that your team has, and the idea that you must have control of at least one of the chokeholds, this allows the player to understand what angles/fights that they can take and hold.
Pachouge - holy shit this is the exact video I was looking for, just hit immortal and a very detailed and advanced lesson like this is exactly what I would love to receive. I also main Reyna and think I have an overheating/ positioning issue. This will help me so much.
I started watching your videos bc i wanted to learn more about the game and the think is a lot of your videos made me better. i was g1 when i first watched a coach you did to gold . now i hited diamond 1 and still learning from you .much love from greece
AlphaStryke The most major thing I learnt from this video was about how some chokepoints aren't viable to take control of and how holding certain chokepoints gives a great advantage
Kebab7315 hi jollz, great video. It's great to see some high level tips every now and then. This made me realise that I try to use the "control" we have but often times the players I play with just give it up again and I don't realize it. Coaching would be really interesting. Have a great one!
Zimo9073 I’ve never heard that higher level of theory on space taking and positioning. I think it is a super useful tool to think of Valorant in terms of a battle for space, rather than just raw aim and positioning. Thanks for the video!
I suffer from the same sh8. I feel like when you have a party or duo you tend to rely on them and think they can carry you or that you can trust them but if you're solo, you can't trust your team so i tend to focus more on the game and do my best.
CheezitGaming0138: I found a couple things interesting here. First the whole solo-queueing vs duo or 3-stacks is different for me, but I think that also falls into the reliability of teammates at different elos and the accountability you can have with someone you know. Also some of the positioning and like avoiding numbers v numbers from one choke opened my eyes to lost round that could have been won. Finally, I gained a better understanding of lurk timing and how not to go too early to utilize the lurk,
The taking space advice at the end was super helpful to me

lorewar. I learned about how to better scale up and take space with your teammates, also about the use of map control for off angles to get easier kills.
Dc is Starlyte, hope I win the coaching. Learning about how taking space affects a round is something I want to really hold on to. I usually igl in my solo queues, so looking to get better at that.
Love the vids man
Thanks for the lesson jollz :D
Love your content
Those tips were actually hella helpful
CuteRedLettuce6176 Wonderful video, Jollz! I have recently been playing ranked again, and have been playing controller. I never really thought about taking space for my team, but I can see how it will be useful and it made me think about how I can do that in my future games! I also didn't really think about timing when lurking, but now I know when I should push and let my presence be known! Thank you!
Love you jollz 😘
Zombie9131 this video was really helpful for me to understand control of the map. I think this will really help me climb
Hi jollz, before watching you I was silver one and now I just got plat. I love you
baehino Seeing the first person coached, I realized I do the same mistake by swinging before placing the crosshair. Sometimes I feel like pinching an enemy during a 2v1 could be necessary if time is running out, but it's true--it leaves a 1v1 in the end that you might lose. I'm excited to take a look at some of the mistakes I make and try to perfect them.
2:37 jolz dodged the flash irl
AppaYipYIp hey man I've been learning a lot from your videos i even just started playing this game for about 2 or 3 acts now I just peaked getting into gold and your video showed me so much data that can be gained by just slowing down and looking at what kind of map control does your team have and how it can be advantageous to know this information! thanks again for the great content!
Litchy2001 It was a by the way tip, but i actually learned how you should fundamentally smoke a site for a round win instead of just got a plant.
chili5456 as a jett main, appreciate it the lesson on what taking space means and why is important 😎
shadeslayr I don't think I ever thought about post plant control that much. Taking control seems to have major impact on the post plant whereas I mostly play on site to play for trades.
Demonic video by the coach👍...great tips dude❤️, btw this guy cant be diamond 1 he is too good😈
i love to see him rocking the smite collection
Teddy4511 Hey Jollz, love these videos. I've recently started Valo about 2.5-3 months ago and your coaching series has been a great source of information and examples to learn off of. From this video, I learned the importance of playing off the controllers utility properly and how to approach taking space during/post plant. I'd love for a chance of coaching and seeing what concepts that I could improve on as I have been a little plateaued the last few weeks around P3-D1.
the start 😂😂😂😂
The best smite knife player I've ever seen!
I really enjoyed watching his gameplay
Prime2.0//Yotam I learned alot from your coaching videos but i have a lot to learn, mainly on positioning and util usage i think, im a KAY/O main
He's so good at what he does.
Such good aim
This dude is just an actual gamer wtf I want him in my ranked games
HE TURNED FROM THE FLASH IRL THE 1ST ROUND LOOOOOOOL
Discord is Auto. I'm only about bronze 3 - silver 1 and I really like the talk about positioning in this video, and helps me learn about how I can play and take space on attack without risking the site
oh shit this is one of my friends bro this guy is CRACKED hes fr on the comeup
Ooo i was at this stream
Munrood I learned more about taking space
Mydiscord is R2D2 and i learnt about when i need to be taking space and how much. I also learnt that this guy's aim is crispy
best thing is when the student becomes to master and he hits radiant and has to coach jollz out if imm3
dont tell me that i was the only one that saw jollz try to dodge the flash in #2.39
His mouse control is so clean like,i feel thers no jittering/any wasted mouse move
Assassin Himself5587 i learned about taking space on attack and the importance of map control in a post plant
went from g3 to p3 just watching this one vid thx
2:37 jollz dodging flash irl (:
my theory on why soloqueueing is better for me aswell, is that when you have a high hidden mmr you will more likely be matched with people like that while when you have a duo, you dont know mmr, they might be plat2 and you might be plat2 but they might be struggling while youre breezing through with match mvps, you wont be playing against the same players
this guy is the absolute opposite of me great aim and crosshair placement
PoGuy- I’m ngl I’m only silver so I prob do most of this stuff and don’t realize it but I also feel like some of this stuff (in my elo only isn’t as bad). This guy takes space well but overheats and ends up losing space. Positioning based on the situations is a bit off. In high numbers (5v5) take more space in low numbers (2v2) less space is needed. Pay attention to enemy’s eco and play around it Reyna ult with good gun is just pressure to the opponents(reeaaaall) Reyna is a good agent??? This only feels true if you have another duelist imo Thanks for the vid jollz and hope your pick gets some good coaching (me?)
DVESTO 6964: Never realized that taking control of a chokepoint post-plant was so important. This is especially true with Pearl.
Actual Factual Genious7314 This guy was a solid player and watching you break down his gameplay really helped my mindset about holding and playing cites in valorant... Love the content man keep it up!
andrew.9799 in this video i learned about positioning when you have site control. if you're down to a 2v2 it's okay to go back to main and play for a tap off your teammate, but when both teams have numbers you need to take control over the site. been watchin for about a month now i watch like at least 2 of your videos per day lmao i
your shirt looks good
I feel the guy whenever i play with friends i end up doing bad as I'm scared if I'll mess up and ends up messing up😂 but if I solo q i play no fks given so it's easier for me to play
Bro got that smite knife 😩🥴
Jolz
I swear, when I used to play Rainbow Six Siege, whenever I would duo queue I would get slammed into the deepest depths of hell, but when I solo queue, I always found myself dropping around 20 kills with 2 deaths, every game. It's so weird.
the smite knife lol
I used to be stuck silver 3 watching these videos thinking that I was way better than these guys. Turns out I was just extremely dumb and thanks to your videos I have ranked up to plat in one act
Dismatted 1. never push a lurk unless your team has made first contact on site first 2. sometimes we need to play more slow so that we don"t overheat and leave it up to the team to clutch 3. keep your mental straight and you truly have a chance of coming back and winning : )
0:10 that would destroy me emotionally 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ernie3902 I'm Silver 2 and think that I'm pretty good at the game and I think that I could be really good but I think that some similar things that I need help with is when to leave a fight/rotate and to stop peaking with util out.
Noctylus2659 i learned that when there's a lot of people still up in post plant we have to take control of an area instead of giving up site control cause it's hard to defend in a 5v5
this guy is so good I wrote an essay about him LMFAO
iSpooderman9077 started watching your content yesterday and its already helped a ton
Your shirt is nice :D wiggle wiggle
HaruKaze3393 Popping ult and creating pressure. I tend to greed a bit too much with my ults and either tunnel vision or wait for the best opportunity. I generally believe I have good knowledge of the game and good play style but limited by my aim and poor peaking habits
Clipz6444 Overall the video helps, I need to learn the basics again, I think im similar to the guy in this video, but yeah learning everything over again is good.
holy F this guy is gooood. def immo at least
jollz had to irl dodge the flash
This guys has played more than he's letting on
eggny 8972 I learned the tip about which space to take control coming onto site really felt like I understood it when you broke it down
How do I know when to take space vs when to pull back (and not overheat), in a post plant situation?
ily
Lol the intro
2:38 bro dodged the flash irl
I feel like im the same way with solo que. playing with people makes me way worse cause i talk and i cant focus
PlutoZombie 4506. From this video I learnt that should play the game better. I am top 0.1% in flicking on 3d aim trainer and top 0.6% overall, but I'm stuck in bronze 3 so clearly I am making some pretty dumb decisions in my games. I think I mostly struggle with consistency because sometimes I pop off but most of the time I will just play really bad. I also think that having "0.1%" in a title / thumbnail will make people want to watch the video :)
xd u turned from the kayo flash irl i think at 02:42
Crazyzombie17, 4018, i learnt a lot from you about crosshair placement, keep up the amazing work!!
i wish i could be that good. hopefully i can be bronze soon

Any body else notice Jollz turns away from the flash even when he’s not playing lol
oop im very early hello jollz luv u
Watching him im like wtf am I doing in diamond ????
I'm "HVC yazunoh3362" and I learned that i need to get sidecontrol if many enemies still alive, if not i should go back and leave the side afterplant
obi 7282 wassup jollz, I’ve been applying a lot of these tips to my gameplay and I’ve been doing pretty well. Although I dropped 3 ranks (☠️), I’ve been playing better. Hopefully I could get some live coaching, it’d be greatly appreciated
