Found the ultimate sweet spot on a Friesian mare named Lefke. She loved getting scratched here so much so kept blocking us trying to walk away looking to get more.

It sounds like you found her favorite scratching spot. Usually when you find a horse's favorite spot and you either stop scratching or move on to another spot then the horse tends to want you to go back to the same spot. I know, finding a horse's favorite scratching spot is my way of getting to know a horse.
