Praying one day the Church of God acknowledges singles as a whole group and doesn’t only favor married people. There is a lack in ministry for singles whether unmarried, divorced, widowed, practicing celibacy...its a shame this group is not recognized.

Maybe I should be more patient to respond after I've listened to the entire thing, but Ben just talked about how singleness will end. Not if God has called you to long term singleness. Yes, I don't know what may happen in the second half of my life, but God has not guaranteed me a mate. I know the comment was in the context of using our freedom as singles, and I know I don't use it now as well as I could. I think I did better when I was younger, but that was partially fueled by the fellowship with younger singles and the energy I had then. Now that I'm middle aged and working to pay the bills, I don't feel so free anymore. Once I get home from work I have no energy for anything else. I cannot fathom the responsibilities of a wife or a mother, but the stress of being the only person responsible for everything in my life takes away some of what you see as freedom. I have to admit though, that I have started wondering whether I have been disobedient by maybe not addressing the "issues" keeping me single. Don't want to be a Debbie Downer, but I think the church has not figured out how to handle singleness for the slightly older crowd. Young people need to understand that the wait for marriage may be a lot longer than they bargained for and singleness as a 30 and 40 year old is not the same as singleness as a 20 year old. God's principles for it are not different, but your experience will be.

There is no "right one" for me. I was abused in early childhood, and I simply cannot connect to anyone in a dating relationship. I am at the point now where I accept that I will remain single for the rest of my life. Celibacy is a must...I cannot deal with sexual relations, nor will I even try. I want to live by myself and heal from the pain of my past. Sometimes things that happen to most people won't happen to you. It's OK for me now. God bless you!

Theres no way I could teach someone to think like me. It's to complicated. I could teach them some of the things I said but thought is nearly impossible to be considered having had taken place if you listen to me. I tried thinking once and it never worked out . So I just took on the act of making myself sound like a fool as much as I could cause I can do that and others can verify it.

I was married for 22 years...( yep! I’m OLD!! ).... my wife ran off with an old boyfriend and walked away from ME..... AND .... the spiritual oath we were both on. That was 12 years ago ( yes.... I’m REALLY REALLY OLD!! )..... but....old as I am.... I’m NOT DEAD .... yet! 🤣... Sadie ... u and your husband can INSPIRE even an old man like me!!😄..... who knows? Maybe God can even help adyde like ME.... Find deep ❤️ love??

I'm still waiting on God's blessing of a partner. I have loved most of my singleness. I've been single more than I've dated. And I'm almost 50. But they weren't right so I'm single now cause I can't find a man who is godly and committed to god completely as well. By the 3rd conversation with men I can't relate to their non Christian ways. My spirit actually feels sick. So I'd rather be healthy and single then sick and with someone abusive. I happen to have an autoimmune disease. So I am also cautious as well. If they don't love god first what happens when we grow old together? NOTHING because if they can't be there at your worst with faith emotionally there for the bond. I say he doesn't deserve to be with me on good days. He hasn't surrendered yet. Now I still screw up amd sin. Not on purpose but we all do. And your are correct about the sex talk. Fastest way to end dinner is to disagree on sex b4 marriage. Lol

Your first caller that's how I am now. Still a slow go as I'm only 6 years in with god. How to forgive myself now is the next step forward for me. Because my first 41 yrs was well like u said Sadie different movies music and just being a kid. Sadly my family isn't of the belief in our lord Jesus. My biggest pray is for that. Every day and night they're alive still I get a chance to pray to the lord for him to finally somehow break through to my mother and father's hearts b4 it's to late for them and they go w/o knowing Jesus. Ur uncle and grandpa PHIL said it best on UNASHAMED. Jesus is the door. It breaks my heart that they resist amd don't sin in horrific ways such as drugs or alcohol but anger pride and non forgiveness is a huge thing they are missing to get to the door. My parents are goodie two shoes for the most part and they are missing out on the Lord. Now I'm completely opposite now. Now I'd rather be alone reading my bible or pray study or just with god then most other places or out doing things. I never feel alone. In fact today was the first day I talked with god about I got lonely today. I thanked him for it knowing I wasn't alone and that he was with me. Your family has helped me through the worst year of my life. Once I surrendered in 2019 100% whereas I was reading the bible on my own in 2015 i decided I wanted to give my life to the lord but I also wanted to be baptized that year so I was. Jace,Al and ur Grandpa said oh it's real simple but it's not easy. Well the persecution is unreal. I cry for Jesus sometimes thinking gosh my year and now a half of being surrendered was horrific and still is at baby steps. But my goodness my heart bleeds for what Jesus must have gone through as it was that x however many sinners in the universe that sin and presecuted Jesus that had to hurt him. Although I can only relate it that way in the flesh mind set and heart since that's all I know as of today. God bless u sweetheart. This is my first show I've seen so far of yours now & WTG!!
