Finding the Perfect Winter Campsite in The Eucumbine Backcountry

After navigating a remote track, we find ourselves less than 5 meters from the river, where we set up camp for a very cold but unforgettable afternoon. The helinox chairs you can just buy the cover so not all is lost , i am just in the habit when i leave the fire i take the chair a few steps away. Any way looked chilly

Camped in that spot a few times in the middle of summer, used to be a few deep puddles on the way in

It’s a nice little spot. Not far off the highway. There are still those puddles on the way in, this time they were frozen though
Looks like a really cool (lol) spot. BTW do you do anything special about your fuel at these temperatures?

Thanks for watching mate. I personally don’t add anything no but most fuel stations either run alpine diesel or sell the additives. In saying that in Australia there are only few places if any that someone’s fuel would freeze up.
