Finding Solution Quartz at the Flash Mountain Crystal Mine!!

Hey guys!
A few weeks ago, my wife and I had the opportunity to dig at the Flash Mountain Crystal Mine, located in North Little Rock, AR.
We had a great time exploring the mountain, and trying a few spots to dig at. We walked away with so many beautiful pieces, and in this video are just a few of them.
I used my usual format for this video...a short preview of my finds as a preview of the pieces shown later in the video, a brief intro, the digging experience, then some of the finds cleaned up with the clay washed off.
To book a dig at this location, go to their web site, click "Digs", scroll down and select the day that best fits your schedule. For under $50, it's more than worth it!

Thanks so much for watching, and have a blessed day today!!

I ❤ the solution quartz from this mine! It truly is special to behold. Watching y'all spot, dig, and pluck those beauties like a boss was nearly as good as being there. I was living it. Fantastic video with expert tips too! Thanks for sharing 🙏🏼

Those crystals are really just amazing 🤩. Looking at the geometry of crystals makes me think that only God would be able to make such a magnificent masterpiece. There’s a mathematical precision and artistic form all at once. Truly amazing.

I agree wholeheartedly! I try to praise Him as often as I can when I am out rockhounding!! As neat as those rocks are, the One who made them is even neater still…”there is no rock like our God.” (1 Samuel 2:2)

You have me absolutely sold on this place. Such cool pieces! I think that brown stuff is limonite after marcasite or pyrite. We get lots of that in Missouri in Washington county. Sweet surrender mine in Arkansas also has a lot of the limonite.

Thanks, my friend! I just looked it up, and this mine is about 5 hours from the St. Louis area. If you ever get a chance to come down to Arkansas this spring or fall, let me know and I’ll meet you there…maybe we could go on tour and hit a few mines? Never thought about the limonite…it felt too lightweight so it didn’t even cross my mind that it could be that. Now I’ve gotta research…lol.
